Missy Elliott Opens Up About Aaliyah And Sexual Abuse On VH1's "Behind The Music" + J. Cole And Wale's "Bad Girls Club" Shoot

Last night, VH1's "Behind The Music" returned with an eye-opening episode about the career of Missy Elliott who struggled with physical and sexual abuse, Graves disease and the death of her BFF Aaliyah along the way to the top of the charts.  Watch the episode inside and see photos of J. Cole and Wale on the set of "Bad Girls Club"....

On the latest episode of VH1's "Behind The Music" Missy Elliott opens up about her career and the struggles she faced as a survivor of sexual abuse, industry bias regarding weight and the death of close friend Aaliyah.

She also talks about Graves disease and seeing her mother being abused by her father.

J. Cole and Wale linked up yesterday to shoot a video for "Bad Girls Club" and we have shots from the set.

And Rihanna recently announced that J. Cole will replace Cee-Lo Green as the opening act for her tour.

I absolutely loved Missy's Behind The Music. The entire story was riveting. I was especially touched when they showed the Aaliyah tragedy and how much she and Tim loved her. The 3 of them together were magical. Now we're all left with is what could have been.

Since when does a GOSSIP site ever give a damn about accuracy? This site put up rumors that Pleasure P was a convicted sex offender when there was no proof whatsoever. Hmmm. I think someone sent Ms. Natasha a "cease and desist" letter to scare her. Lark is KNOWN to sue the tabloids (and won) for putting up "false" information. Although ain't NOTHING about her drug use false. Aside from her appearance, ask ANYONE who has worked w/ her in the past few years, and they aren't hard to find b/c she's only been doing bootleg ass movies w/ bootleg ass people, and they will tell you her ass has a serious drug problem.

I think commenting on someone's clothing choice is WAAAY different than criticizing them b/c of the way they look, esp. if you don't know if they have a drug problem or not. To me, it looks more like she might have a liver/kidney problem. People who do have those problems tend to have a sallow complexion like hers. Also, Lark Voorhies hasn't been around in a minute. It's not like other celebs who are craving our attention every day. Now, even if it is drugs-that still not something I believe people should be mocked over. She would need rehab and prayer in that case.
