NFL Baller Roy E. Williams Demands $76,000 Engagement Ring Back After Proposal Was Rejected

Dallas Cowboys baller Roy E. Williams fell head over heels for former Miss Texas USA Brooke Daniels, but after she rejected his proposal, he asked for his $76,000 ring back. Get the nutty deets inside....

In a recent court filling, Dallas baller Roy Williams Jr. asked for the return of a $76,600 engagement ring he sent to pagent queen Brooke Daniels....in the mail. yes, he proposed to her by sending her an engagement ring IN THE DAMN MAIL.

In addition to the ring, Roy claims he also sent $5,000 for school and dental bills, a baseball for Daniels’ brother and a recorded marriage proposal with the ring through the mail just before Valentine’s Day. But Brooke didn't accept the proposal....and she kept the ring!

So after the rejection, Roy asked for the ring back but surprise, Brooke said she "lost" it. WOMP.

Then an investigation, launched by Roy's insurance company, located the ring. And it was with Brooke's dad, Michael Daniels.

It gets a little tricky though. Michael Daniels claims that he has documentation that Roy told Brooke to keep the ring....but he will return it to avoid a lawsuit.

Ummmm.....I'd like to know how he got the ring if Brooke "lost" it. But whatevs...

FYI: This is not the same Roy Williams who Kelly Rowland was engaged to. This story involves wide receiver Roy Eugene Williams. Kelly's ex-fiance is Roy Lee Williams, who now plays Safety for the Cincinatti Bengals.

I had a friend that was stationed in Hawaii and he sent his girl back east a beautiful engagement ring, attached to flowers that only grew in Hawaii in a glass case. He didn't hear from her for several weeks, he called, he wrote. He finally took a flight back and to his dismay when he knocked on the door some dude answered and she came to the door wearing his ring and told him it was over. This brother was a good brother but you cant' wifey a bird. Women are a mess at times and if she said no...then give back the damn ring. And so what he was engaged to Kelly. I don't know the dynamic of the situation to assume anything unless someone knows why. Last I checked, she did an interview stating she wasn't ready. So....how does this fit in the story? I also know that the reason why many Africans can come into this country and achieve the success that we do is because we have not been oppressed for hundreds of years. It's different for us because we have been taught at home that we can achieve anything we put our mind to. In our societies, there are no limitations for us because of the color of our skin. So we have learned that and internalized that and we can come here and be impervious to the psychological assault that takes place on blacks every day. But, how did this become about African vs. African-american anyway? The way this conversation has evolved is very telling of the bigger problems blacks have. If we can't work together, we will never rise. Do you see white Americans tearing down their European counterparts? We got to do better people.

It is stupid to mail anything of value through the mail. That ring could have gotten lost in the mail or even the mailman could have taken it luckily that did not happen. He gave her a ring she technically could have kept it. he should have propsed in person and only given her the ring if she said yes. You live and you learn i guess.
