Former "RHOA" Lisa Wu Hartwell SPLIT From Ed Hartwell, But It's NOT Because of Finances?

The reality show curse on couples is still in effect it seems. Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Lisa Wu-Hartwell, confirmed she and her hubby of 5 years, Ed Hartwell, are indeed separated. But she claims it's not over finances, or lack thereof, like certain folks are saying.

Lisa, who appeared on the first 2 seasons of "RHOA," tweeted that she and her sexy former NFLer husband are indeed on Splitsville Lane, but she said it's definitely not because of finances like certain sites are claiming:

Sadly. We r seperated but wld NEVER b over money. That is so far frm the truth. Wish ppl cld respect ppl's privacy during times like these

The Hartwells had previously been in the news about their financial difficulties and not being able to afford their home, which many believed led to Lisa not being asked to return to "RHOA." And she also previously went through drama with her first ex-husband of 10 years, Keith Sweat, over whether the kids they have and share custody of together would be shown on tv.

Lisa already changed her name back to her maiden Lisa Wu on twitter, while Ed changed his Facebook status to "Separated."

Lisa & Ed have a 3-year-old son named EJ (Ed, Jr.), and Lisa told a good friend who blogged that the twosome will definitely stay united at the very least in supporting their son.

Sad news for the couple.

You people act as though life has never happened to you. As soon as a Black woman wants the security of being cared for financially by her man, she is labeled a 'golddigger' but it is quite different for women of other ethic backgrounds. I don't hear Kim Kardashian being called a 'golddigger' maybe other names....lol....seriously people, what if somebody put a microscope under your ass and reported all her personal hurtful details of you life? After reading this morning's article on how Keith Sweat and his 'momma' helped take Lisa's boys, I hope she wins back her boys plus her role as their mama, because when your ex and his 'momma' gang up on you, your validity as a mother is devalued not to mention totally diminished and wiped out......I know, it happened to me ..and I was not neglectful.....give the woman a break...examine yourselves

I was not surprised at all. Someone else said it best. When Ed wanted to have sex with her she made a face. I could since the disinterest that she had in him and wanting another baby. Also, remember the episode where he took her to the smaller house that they would be living in? She tied to act like it did not bother her, but it was so obvious that she was not gonna be happy there.

Aren't most of us on here on the outside looking in and making assumptions about a situation that we really don't have all the facts about. Are any of you personal friends and family of Lisa and Ed Hartwell? I am saddened that they have separated, because they "appeared" to be a wonderful couple with a good relationship. As we know things can and do change, and often unless we are close to the situation we aren't immediately privy to the real deal behind the scenes. I don't think Lisa is perfect ,but it's too assume to place 100% of the blame on her, when he might be equally or even more responsible. It could be over money, cheating, anything! It's just too soon at this point to tell.

Clearly, Lisa is moving on b/c the $ is gone. She is $ hungry and there is no way she WOULD leave if Ed had a boatload of $ right about now. I don't think Terri Vaughn’s husband is Lisa 's type b/c he doesn't come across as being wealthy nor does Terri. I can't recall the last time Terri did some work on TV other than Meet the Browns. I never saw the chemistry between them. Lisa was always giving him the side eye, especially when he said that he wanted to try for another baby, you could see that she didn't want that. She was so sneaky too in that situation with Kim and Nene. Ed seems like a nice guy, but who knows, that Snow guy from the 1st season seemed cool too, until he divorced Deshawn and impregnated their friend. C'est la vie.

Yes her ex husband Keith Sweat has full custody of their sons.... That should say enough about her, she doesn't even have her kids, here in GA the Judge generally sides with the mother but after keith aired her out he got the kids. She "stole" money from Keith, tore his family up (cousins to this day don't speak with him because of her) she ran around ATL saying he used to beat her to destroy his reputation. I am a friend of hers or "was" a friend of hers and thers is so much I could say about her.

I didn't like Lisa's character on the show. She was sneaky! She created a lot of tension between Kim & Nene then sat back and watched (like she was innocent!).
