NOTE TO MEMPHITZ: You CAN'T Bring A Gun On A Plane!

The ONE thing you don't want to do is bring a gun to the airport and try to board a plane. Toya's husband--and record label exec-- Memphitz just learned that ish the hard way as he was ARRESTED today at the Atlanta airport.

Deets inside....

The newlyweds--who are also the new faces of Ampro Gel (yes, they're still around)--had just made an appearance at last night's Bronner Brothers hair show in Atlanta. And Memphitz, government name Mickey Wright, hit the ATL Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport today and packed his gun. Needless to say that ish was a no-go once he went to security.

Memph was arrested once TSA called the cops after noticing the firearm pass through the x-ray.

His possible only saving grace is that he does have a valid license to carry a gun. But it's still uber illegal to bring it on a plane.

Guess we'll be seeing this play out on the new season of "Toya Show." Will there even be another one on BET? Whatevs. We'll just check twitter....

this is beyond STUPID...there

this is beyond STUPID...there is a long list of items that you CANNOT take on a plane and the last time I checked a firearm is one of them. Whether your gun is licensed or not...it is against federal law to take said firearm on a plane.

You can't even bring a bottle of Snapple on the plane and this fool brought a gun! An honest mistake is bringing a 4 oz hand lotion on the plane in your purse. When has it ever been alright for civilians to tote firearms on a plane? Stop making excuses for foolishness.

How STUPID can you be??! I agree with an earlier posted comment, even if you are liscenced to carry a gun being a RESPONSIBLE gun owner means KNOWING the gun LAWS that govern how you get to use and transport your gun..................IDIOT!! I think the powers that be really need to delve even deeper into an individual's mental aptitude before selling them a gun, because some people are too addlepated (confused in the mind) they really don't need to carry dangerous weapons. FYI all you negative people....he is not the first and will not be the last to get arrested for making an attempt to carrying a firearm. I hear about someone getting arrested in the airport everyday from trying to carry guns on the airplane. Blame George Bush for passing the law that you can carry handguns everywhere as long as you are licensed. They publicized him okaying the law but forgot to inform everyone that the airplane is prohibited from carrying your firearms licensed or not....gesh people you all are ridiculous.

Sorry this was not a mistake. Part of being a responsible gun owner is being aware of the gun your carrying. If he has a license to carry it he also has to be aware where he is going with it. It really makes little sense to forget you have it that is why he was arrested. I think it was a stupid act. But I also think people are using this as a reason to attack him and Toya. They support each other and they are married this is not that big of a deal. People need to stop blowing things out all the time. They will be fine.

I totally agree with you. It's not as if he was attempting to smuggle the gun in and he did have a valid license to carry it. He might had forgotten that it was in his bag. Some people act if they don't make any mistakes.
