BACK IN CUSTODY ALREADY? T.I. In Trouble With Feds Over Luxury Bus Ride

We told you yesterday that T.I. had been released from prison, but now after some -ish involving a bus ride, he's back in custody. Get the deets on T.I.'s ride inside...

Rapper T.I. is back in federal custody at a federal penitentiary today after he received flack from the feds about using a luxury bus to transport him from Arkansas to Atlanta to his assigned halfway house.

His lawyer, Steve Sadow told The Associated Press that the Federal Bureau of Prisons 'has moved T.I. to a different facility' because,

"There appears to be confusion surrounding the method of transportation," Sadow said.

He may only be in custody for the time being while they move him to a different halfway house. Traci Billingsley, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, said she couldn't comment on T.I.'s status and no other info was released.

As of now, the prison agency's website says T.I. was "in transit."

Alot of people have issue

Alot of people have issue with him taking the van, what for? How is that not being humble? They stated he took a luxury van the last time he was released from prison so have the rules that much within 8 months? Come on now, lets be realistic, we all know what this really is. As well, how can TI control whats coming to pick him up from behind bars? Yes he should know his every move is being watched because they dont want him out, however, why does he have to tone down what he does to accommodate those that dont want to see him come up? Eveyone stunts in the rap game and that is what it is, it is apart of their culture, yet we accept it in rap videos but he cant have a luxurious ride from the prison. He has money, you cannot expect him to act in the same manner as someone who doesn't. He was released and those around him wanted to celebrate, how uncanny is that. I am not defending his actions if I believed that that was the real motive behind what the police did but in all actuality I dont. I dont think what he did was against any laws and his lawyer and whomever set the bus up should be fired if it did in fact break the rules but I doubt it. The bus he got on looked to me to be the same bus from his previous stint in prison...just saying

When will he ever learn?? This is the Feds he's dealing with, so when they tell you to do something, they mean it. This mode of transportation was not the way he originally told them and was approved of, as to how he was going to report to the halfway house. So now he has to pay the price for violating the rules. I'm so over this dude and his stupidity.

They knew he was in a luxury bus as it was from the same company that picked him up last year. The problem is that this year VH1 was there filming for his new reality show and got access into a federal prison and a federal approved halfway house. Knowing a high official within the atlanta fbi who controls TI sentence and was part of the swat team that busted him, the feds has to minimize preferential treatment given to TI that the public becomes aware of. This is just the feds acting before they were criticized. The reason all goes back to the big payoff Atlantic records made to get TI a 1 year jail stint and to ensure that he never gets busted for the same charge again

We can get mad at the system

We can get mad at the system all day, but that won't change diddly squat. The system is unbalanced. We get it. But, be smart, avoid the bullshit and you will most likely come out on top. The best way to fight the system is to study the rules of the game and keep your life clean and bullshit free. Sometimes you need to leave the hood behind. Sometimes you need to cut people off. Sometimes you need to stop "keeping it real" and start "keeping it classy". Instead of growing up and acting like responsible adults, we constantly fall for the traps that these folks set up for us. Those people that you have mentioned are acting the way they need to be acting around the right people. You can't honestly say that law enforement and the judicial system hands out sentences the same unless you're lying to yourself. If you are someone who is famous and got famous by rapping, your mentality probably will be the same as alot of street people. I'm just saying just like the NFL, NBA, NCAAA (for football and basketball ONLY), and hip hop; laws and rules are enforced more harshly. Jamie Foxx is as thug as it comes but he knows how to assimilate. The thing about being Black in this country is that unfortunately you have to be bi-polar to stay true to your roots and to adapt to society. I dont think everyone has mastered that yet how fair is it to tell someone to do so when Kid Rock doesnt have to??? Why this was an issue, I don't know but it had to be serious enough to stick b/cause his lawyer didn't seem like he was going to fight it. An entourage, a luxury bus...was it really necessary?? Yes it is his money, his choice...but dude hasn't been making very wise choices for a while now! Even though he was released he STILL isnt technically free...they didn't release him to go home, he's going to a freakin halfway house!!! Be humble, slip away to the halfway house quietly, have your wife pick you up and use that time from the prison to the halfway house to talk to your wife and reconnect...He'll have all the time in the world to catch up with his boys & party...(hopefully). I swear this dude is a major IDIOT.

If it wasnt for bad luck,

If it wasnt for bad luck, dude wouldnt have no luck at all. SMDH! He needs a life make-over. What good is having money when you are still living a poor life. Many of you are have such low self esteem that you think having money, designer clothes and fame is everything but if you dont have wisdom and knowledge to manage it all and align yourself with the right people, its all a waste. Tiny and TI are the trashiest wealthy people I've ever seen. Everything about them is over done and trailor trash. They need let go of the excess and concentrate on the success. They need to edit their friends and find more people who they can aspire to be like rather than hood rats and hood monkeys looking to hang on and keep that hood life going on even in the mist of having a lot of money, opportunity and success. His lawyer should have made the arrangements to transport him quietly to the half way house without the press having knowlege of it/pictures. The he should have laid low there until he could transition home. This is not the time to be ghetto fabulous. The FEDS are strict and they dont play regardless of who you and your press write ups say you are. To them, you are just a common criminal. Get better friends in and out of the business and tone down the garrish life style to a more quieter, elegant and sophisticated lifestyle.
