WHY?! Pretty Ricky, H-Town & Jodeci's New Video For "Knockin' Your Heels Off"

The two baby-making music male groups of the 90's have teamed up with the apparent baby-making music group of the millenium (we guess) for a new track and new video.

Check out members of Jodeci & H-Town teaming up with Pretty Ricky (sans Pleasure P) for this new ish called "Knockin' Your Heels Off." Deep sigh....

Thanks for trying to revive my 90's absolute LOVE for Jodeci and H-Town, but no thanks.

Somebody told drunken Subway patron Devante Swing to come out of retirement with his Jodeci homies JoJo, K-Ci & Mr. Dalvin (WHERE HAS HIS ASS BEEN??), and H-Town homies G.I. & Shazam. And honestly, we probably wouldn't have been mad at that since we ALL know these two groups were the ish.

But, despite the fact their voices are still the same and they could probably still sing circles around pretty much any male group that came after them, this here video just makes it seem like a joke. Let alone the fact they brought on "Lingerie" and Pretty Ricky. I will never be able to take a dude name "Lingerie" seriously. Sorry.

But thanks for the ol college try. Check out the fellas' new video and song "Knockin' Your Heels Off."

Thank You especially at the end with DeVante Swing. That man is tio talented in the writing/producing/arranging department for this mess. If he was back in the 90's on his game this wouldn't have even left the studio. I heard he didn't even want to do the video and since this is 2 years old with him and the rest of Jodeci, they hopefully got themselves together again. I know they can do better than that due to their past albums. Man I gotta listen to Diary of a mad band and watch some Jodeci old school videos.

BIG YAWN!!! Sorry guys, but it's a new millennium and this song is way to 1990s for me. I swear they called up girls from their original videos for this 'cause everybody just looks tired as hell. The video is cheap, tacky and weak there is no concept here at all. The direction is lame. And none of these men are fine. It's over. Just over. I was a fan of Jodeci back in the day but I would never buy this, I'd rather listen to their old classics than this B.S. I know they've got to eat but there really is no excuse for this nonsense.

This record says a number of things to me... #3) The Record is actually good... Not really a fan of the rapping at the end.. but i'm sure a few of the ladies will eat it up. #2) Pretty Rickey's Management Team was smart enough to pay homage to the legends that made the baby making music before them. Which in turn brings more publicity to them with them all on a record. #1) Jodeci got together long enough to set aside differences to get back in the lab together, which if they can stay together long enough... will be a MAJOR rise for the RNB Genre. Pleaaaase!!! On so many levels. The beat is sooo 90s and the lyrics are tacky and amature. The video seems totally low budget and it did come off as a joke. On a positive note I will always love KC's voice.
