"Basketball Wives LA" Star Jackie Christie Loses Her Mother To Cancer

"Basketball Wives LA" star Jackie Christie revealed this morning that her mother passed away from cancer earlier today. Listen to the interview inside...

Jackie Christie called "The Tom Joyner Morning Show" this morning and revealed that she lost her mom earlier today. We've been following how she and her sister have been dealing with her mother's health on this season of "Basketball Wives."

Her mom had a long battle with cancer and Jackie said she was happy that her mom made it to the 16th wedding of she and Doug before she died.

When asked about the drama surrounding the show, Jackie encouraged viewers to stay tuned because there will be many surprises along the way. She also said people should not judge the entire season by the fight that happened in episode one.

She then spoke on the drama with her daughter Takari who had been saying some malicious and hurtful things about Jackie and her parenting skills--or lack thereof. She says this drama is now resolved and that she and her daughter speak often and are working through their issues. Interesting.

At the end of the day, Jackie is the only one married and has the real ring. It is amazing that young women today still do not get it. The real message is "close the candy store", have respect for yourself and HE WILL! That old fashion stuff does work. It is not cute,to walk around calling yourself a Basketball wife, when you are not. I only wish the show would have portrayed the challenges expereinced by the families of professional athletes. What it does to the families as a whole, the heart-ache of scandal and how they cope to be normal. Really!!

I think these women act immature. First you have Laura, she looks like a dude and knows it which is why she attacks poor Draya. Then you have Imani, she is so insecure and too old to act like she does. Then of course, Jackie has lost her mind, everytime I see her talking on the side, I believe she is missing a screw. Notice, Draya told her if people don't get her by now she is done being miss nice, so of course in Jackie's world, Draya is a sneaky b****...she is crazy. Gloria is in her own nerdy world, but she needs to stop taking advise from her sister the clown. I thought basketball wives would have some semblance of class, these chicks are ugly, fat, flabby and bitter. So are the ones in Miami.

No wonder black children have such self hatred and negative views on black and dark skinned. Is this healthy for her children to know she hates black men?
