Details Revealed In The Death Of Vesta Williams

Details have emerged regarding that death of R&B singer Vesta Williams, who was found dead in her California hotel room. Get the latest inside........

"Sweet Sweet Love" singer Vesta Williams, 53, was found dead in her El Segundo, CA hotel room last night.

According to Los Angeles County coroner's Capt. John Kades, Vesta was found dead at 6:15pm on Thursday night and officials also discovered several empty prescription pill bottles.

For now, law enforcement is treating the death as either an accident or suicide. A cause of death will likely be determined after a coroner's examination has taken place, which could take 6 weeks.

Vesta, who made several appearances on "Sister, Sister" as Jackee Harry's best friend Monica was remembered by the actress who tweeted:

"...just received truly devastating news: R&B great, and my friend of many yrs, Vesta Williams ((at)vesta4u), has passed away. (hash)RIPVesta"

I am very interested to know how she died. all of these so called friends with big houses couldn't open their homes to Vesta?? If she was just transitioning to a new home, and already was staying there, why did she have to check in?? Did the hotel have any surveillance cameras or was it too low budget?? Sooo many unanswered questions.. I am thinking the guy was a drug courier and brought her the poison that ended her life. Sad, sad story. I can't wait to see the final results..

U are telling the truth. A lot of celebs abuse drugs, but some of them die under very suspicious circumstances. So much so that u have to wonder what's really going on in Hollywood. If someone is found dead, and they have no drugs in their system-something else or someone else is the cause. I felt the same way about Brittany Murphy and her husband's death. And with that Corey Haim guy that was found in the woods somewhere-this after he alleged he'd been molested by his management. I'd never let my kids get involved with that industry-it seems like there's a sinister downside to fame.
