Neffe has 5 kids by 3 different men. She needed to have her tubes tied 2 or 3 kids ago. How she is considered relevant is beyond me. The media is sh*t. Just a tool devised by the d-vil to make Black people feel worse about ourselves. No one needs to glorify ignorance, having babies by multiple different men, infidelity/having babies &/or getting engaged while you're still married to someone else, etc. There are so many POSITIVE Black people doing amazing things to uplift the race. When do we get a platform to shine -- to show the world that Black is the antithesis of darkness, ignorance & inability? Black Americans can thank self for the lack of positive imagery on tv. It dates back to The Cosby Show. Too many Black people were up in arms over the Huxtables because they felt a 2-parent household run by a doctor & a lawyer whose kids all had their own bedrooms and a stable upbringing were "unrealistic". Now, all we're offered are living, breathing minstrel shows. Between the Basketball Wives franchise, Keyshia, Neffe & Frankie and whatever other foolishness has a predominately Black cast, the entire Black race looks faulty. I wouldn't support Neffe or So-Low (how his name should be spelled) if a judge ordered me to do so.

You're slightly mistaken. I am a professional and come from a family of professionals too, but we are NOT the norm. 80% of African American children are raised by single parents. 35% live at or below the poverty level compared to 13% of whites and only 5% of all 'professionals' are African American. (stats courtesy of US census) You are not the norm. There is a serious problem in our community. The first step in correcting a problem is admitting there is one. The next step is , what is your part in doing something about it.

That right there is what we call a cop out..regardless of how life started out, if you want better, than it is up to you to do something about it..the fact that her father wasn't around and her mother had a mulitude of issues, doesn't mean she can use those two factors as a crutch. Stop procreating and do something with your life..it starts with her..she has no one to blame if she doesn't have the life that she envisions..not her mother, not her baby daddy, not her sister, or not the fact that more likely than not, this show will not get picked up! Take the blame for your own actions and stop looking for reasons to fault others!!
