EXCLUSIVE UPDATE: Tamar Braxton's Husband Vincent Herbert Now Stable & Talking After Collapsing From Blood Clot

Vincent Herbert, husband to Tamar Braxton and producer and label head for Lady GaGa, collapsed while in New York City last Friday. Following yesterday's reports saying he was in serious condition and on a respirator, we've confirmed, as of today, he's more stable.

While in NYC for music related meetings this past Friday, Vincent collapsed and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was initially in the Intensive Care Unit. Our production source for the "Braxton Family Values" show confirmed to TheYBF.com that while the situation was indeed serious at one point, Vince is more stable at this time, and even talking to friends and family who are currently with him at the hospital.

Our source confirms it was indeed a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in the lungs that can easily be fatal. Tennis star Serena Williams also suffered from this extremely serious condition following her foot surgery several months ago.

It has not been reported yet the exact cause of the embolism.

We're told Tamar was extremely distraught by the whole situation, and hasn't left her husband's bedside in New York. And we've also learned the We TV reality cameras were (and are still) rolling, since all 19 episodes of the upcoming season of "Braxton Family Values" (which kicks) off next week have not yet been taped. So we will likely see this whole emergency play out on tv.

Tamar and Vince were slated to attend President Obama's $35,000 per plate fundraising dinner this past Monday at Chief Creative Officer of Pixar/Disney John Lasseter's L.A. home with Will Smith and other A-Listers. But since Vince is still hospitalized in NY, they skipped out.

Tomorrow's scheduled reality show press dinner in L.A. has been postponed.

Toni Braxton also dropped her brother-in-law Vince as her manager recently, and is now being managed by Baumgarten Management & Productions, Inc. with publicity headed by The Chamber Group.

God Bless you Vince on your recovery. I wanted to let you know that I have been going through the same exact symtoms as you since 2000. I was very scary and I lived very healthy so when I first had the clots, PE etc it was very shocking to me. Since then I had to close down my business and went through a deep depression for everything I worked so hard for. But now I have a new look on life and now God has blessed me with 6 very pretty and 1 handsome grandson whom keeps me so happy and very well entertained. I just wanted to let you know by experience that back in 2008 the Doctors decided to put an IVC filter in me to try to catch the clots. I have every since had more trouble with my body. The last two years I'm in a wheelchair and have been suffering horrible pain in my groin area as well as clot in my leg. So after deep researching I found out that IVC's can be dangerous and break off into other Vital organs. I hope you have not gone through with a filter yet?? I was not properlly advise about the side effects I would have never gone through with it. Just try to eat healthy travel by bus more so than planes and stay consistent with the blood thinners and INR's. I was told my condition was genetic but no one on either side of my families has this. Evelyn, this is just a quick note to let you know that though you are not aware of a genetic link to the problem you're having it is likely because some of these autoimmune diseases were not recognized or accepted. I have one that only began being recognized 20 years ago. Also, in many cases people go undiagnosed.

I am hoping that Tamar and Vinces union will grow stronger. Nobody knows what "she" feels in her heart. Its not fair to judge her regardless if the fact I do not care for her behavior or look. I do not see anything so special about Tamars look that people should be comparing them to beauty n the beast. Vince is a very handsome looking man a little on the heavy side. He has the upper hand if he lost his weight (he has plenty of money to buy the best weight loss help out there) he'd be "what society calls a dime" and she'd be the beast. She was beautiful until she started "fixing" her face, nose and lips. On top of everything else her obvious envy of Toni her loud nasty attitude made her minus a dime status. Vince, write me. I can help you understand what is happening to you and where to go from here. I am a heart attack survivor that left me with congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, left bundle branch block and out of control high blood pressure. I believe Tamar. love Vince like a family member and meal ticket. But have never been in love with him and never will be. He is clearly not her type . His money and private jet is her type. If one of her sisters was married to him she would say that being that big is not HOT. When she think he is mad she bull shot him acting like she want to have sex. Sex is all she have to offer him. He already know this in his heart. But he just put up with it. She think having his children is repulsive. I wish I could introduce my daughter to him. She think he is the sweetest person. My daughter look better than Tamar. And have a better attitude and is in college to be a nurse. Will make her own money. The only reason why someone would want to introduce their daughter to Vince is because he's rich but remember he's also A God Fearing Christian.
