It's funny how you guys can't stand Nicki but you run to every post to say it lol. I bought Pink Friday and it wasnt bad at all. I want nicki to win so we can have other females in the game. She is kicking down the door that your beloved Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Eve and Missy let them shut on female rap. Lil kim- was too busy getting surgeries and lying on the stand. Don't give me that label crap because you can put out a mixtape without a label. Foxy -Too busy acting a fool and hopping from label to label and when things started to look up she lost her hearing. Eve- Could care less about rap and only wanted to be an actress Missy-I know she was sick but her hiatus definitely left a void. Trina-She stayed on her grind but she is no rap star but she gets an A for effort. Nicki single-handedly brought female rap back while the other chicks were on the sidelines. Nicki grinding it out like Rihanna dropping another album only a year after her first. The problem a lot of the girl if not all got handed their deal. This is the era where you have to grind and they have yet to grasp that concept New chicks to check for 3d natee, Chayna Ashley, Phara Funeral, Black Frost and the list goes on. I swear all the Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj beef getting old. I like them both. I remember being a few year to young to REALLY listen to Lil' Kim back in the day, but I have had the albums for years now and they sound just as good then as they do now. Nicki can be playful, raunchy, psychotic and a few other adjectives but I do like a lot of her music. It does irk me that Nicki can't even say "bish I dnt like you" in a song without fans and Lil' Kim herself taking offense. Rather it is 12 y/o fans, 25 y/o fans (like me), or older who like Nicki it doesn't matter she is doing something right because she is still shining. People act like she is a demise to hip-hop...no the men of hip-hop came and killed it with some of the wack ish out now. I pray that Lil' Kim makes an album soon I will definitely be copping it! This "next project" sounds like a reissue of the same old stuff, repackaged, rename and spruced up like it's something new, great, additional. I hate this gimick. It's a lazy move by the artists; instead of working to create new music and challenging themselves artistically, they try to make a cheap buck off the old album. Question: can Nikki's 12 year old fans really afford to drop another $15 to get the same songs in a new order with some new talking added on top of the same old tracks?
