BREAKING: Dr. Conrad Murray SENTENCED To 4 Years Imprisonment!

Conrad Murray was just sentenced moments ago in a Los Angeles court. And he's getting the max term. Details inside...

The court determined that the appropriate sentencing was the "high" term of 4 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

The judge stated he feels the max term is necessary because the doctor abandoned his patient who trusted him, administered potentially dangerous drugs, his actions occurred over a period of time, he repeatedly lied to cover up his transgressions, and he violated the trust of his patient and medical community.

The judge also said Murray has "absolutely no sense of remorse" and is still dangerous.

If Dr. Murray does end up practicing medicine in the U.S. or elsewhere, the judge said Murray "is so reckless" with his conduct that he's a danger to all everywhere.

Due to overcrowding in the jails, many believe he will actually only serve 2 years in county jail. Or 2 years of home confinement because of overcrowding in county jails as well.

They're a lot of people that would've done right, but more so that would do wrong.. just got too comfortable and routined..both did a lot of us don't think about the negative outcomes when it sounds so good... I don't think Murrey should get treated like a criminal, he just made bad choices he wasn't deliberately trying to kill the man.. he was wrong but I dnt think he should get max.

Michael's problems with

Michael's problems with addiction have NOTHING to do with this man's decision to administer propofol to him in a home setting. This doctor was nothing more than a glorified drug dealer--he abused his medical license to obtain drugs and administer them for a cost. Doctors are not above the law and he deserves every punishment he gets. Hopefully this will send a message to other doctors that they need to treat their oath and their license with respect.

Come on now....everyone is aware of Michael Jackson's drug addictions among other addictions as Mike has had numerous physicians prior to Dr. Murray. The previous physicians have prescribed several medications that were illegal to administer in a home setting, but as you all know.....money talks....period!!! The real culprit is his plastic surgeon, who performed unnecessary and dangerous surgeries on Michael's face, nose and neck, and he should be charged and convicted for violating the plastic surgeon code of ethics...however here again....money talks.....period. No, Dr. Murray isn't perfect but he's truly the fall guy in this case. Michael's music will live forever but he really and honestly had problems....even Stevie Wonder could see that!!!!!! Entertainers must learn not to abuse their power and/or money in order to obtain illegal items, whether it's drugs, surgeries, people or other material items!!!! I want to believe that if Michael could do this all over again he wouldn't have gotten the first nose job after his "Off the Wall" album.....I'm just saying.

So you blame the addict over the dealer? It's not about those who provided him drugs or w/e he wanted in the past. It's about who was with him last that provided the drugs that ultimately killed him. The autopsy said it was directly because of propofol (sp?) and the other drugs mixed in his system. Bottom line is, while Dr. Murray may not have intended for Mike to die, everything he did and did not do, caused his death that day. And everything he did or didn't do, was all wrong, from start to finish.
