RED CARPET FAB: Kelly Rowland, Mariah Carey, Common & Others DAZZLE At "BET HONORS 2012"

Last night, FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Aretha Franklin and Terrence Howard were among the high profile celebs who came out to pay tribute to Mariah Carey, Spike Lee and Maya Angelou at "BET HONORS 2012." See red carpet pics inside...

Last night, Gabrielle Union played hostess as tons of celebs walked the red carpet for the "BET HONORS 2012" at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC. The show, airing February 13 at 9pm on BET, honored Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Spike Lee, The Tuskegee Airmen and Beverly Kearney.

One of my fave looks on her--perfect white dress.

Mariah hit the carpet in a nude and black form fitting gown--and for once, we actually love what she's wearing. And it looks like her hubby Nick did too:

The 2012 honoree arrived on the arms of her husband Nick Cannon. He's looking great since his release from the hospital.

MiMi hit the stage with Spike Lee and Stevie Wonder.

And even little Moroccan was brought up on stage as well.

The FLOTUS Michelle Obama was a presenter at the show and she looked stunning in red.

And on the red carpet, hostess Gabby Union posed with BET exec Stephen Hill.

Hot-ness.

And there was "nearly" a Destiny's Child reunion (sans Beyonce) as both Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams walked the red carpet and both ladies looked amazing.

Willow Smith wore a long canary yellow dress. This is the most covered up and age appropriate I've seen this little girl look in a while.

Soul singer Ledisi was looking quite fab.

TV's Judge Hatchett showed off her purple gown and cast.

The iconic Cicely Tyson arrive with designer b. Michael.

Anthony Hamilton posed with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr.

Stevie Wonder was an honoree (spoiler alert - sources say he forgot some of his own lyrics!).

Kevin Liles attended with his gorgeous wife (and new mom) Erica.

Jill Scott was lifted and supported to the tee. She looks beautiful as always.

"106 & Park" hostess Rocsi wore a revealing black gown.

BET News Anchor TJ Holmes walked the red carpet (fans self......he looks BETTER since leaving CNN!).

Of course Randy Jackson came out to cheer on his good friend Mariah Carey.

Spike Lee (also an honoree) attended with his beautiful wife Tonya Lewis Lee.

Red Tails stars Terrence Howard (and daughter Aubrey) and Cuba Gooding Jr. paid tribute to The Tuskegee Airmen.

Dapper rapper Common was a performer.

And the Queen of Soul arrived with her fiance William 'Willie' Wilkerson.

I'm thinking Willow Smith got shut down after that Nicki-Minaj wig and short-shorts look she had on the other day, lol. Looks like Will may have picked out this outfit for his little girl and good too cause she looks great. Is that really the best pic available of Judge Hatchett, come on! Kelly Roland is hands down the best looking of the night, everything is working on her and Gabrielle Union comes in a close second. But where did that butt come from on Kelly? Is that implants, injections, or just some padding and Spanx? Tell me something cause I'm not crazy, Kelly used to be nearly flat as a board back there! And I'm talking really recently. These celebrities need to stop just busting out with all these new body parts like everyone is supposed to have amnesia. It's getting laughable and confusing. Mariah looks crazy in the front in that dress...gotta co-sign whoever said Willow does not look appropriate in a floor-length looks like she stole that out of Jada's closet. Gabrielle on the show looks far more appropriate to the event than she did on the red carpet. Jill needs to take a page from Queen Latifah on how to dress formally. Rocsi suprisingly looks good and appropriate and even sophisticated. Didn't think she had it in her... Nick has a look on his face like he's getting tired of the Mariah circus....can't blame him there. I give them a year or two at the most....Cicely Tyson looks fabulous...Michelle Williams WTF? Common looks delicious! Michelle Obama looks like a million bucks. Kelly needs to ditch that poodle wig. Michelle (from Destiny's Child, don't even remember the girls last name) looks OLD AS HELL! I was just about to say that for a change everyone looked FAB! Michelle Williams should use less make-up/foundation but otherwise she--and all of the women looked beautiful. Then...I scrolled down to the head-to-toe-mess that is Randy Jackson and Cuba-Gooding Jr's tight-ass vest! SMH... Common looks nice, though I have lost respect for him due to the beef between him & Drake, which Common initiated. Dude, you are supposed to be a 'conscious' rapper, a grown man & you go in on Drake for singing--and rapping? Jealous much? SMH? Other than that, everyone looked fab & for some reason I love seeing Mariah & Nick together. They look SO happy. Hotness!!

Unfortunately, hollywood, black people are obsessed with white skin/lighter skin because Gabby and Kelly are some of the gorgeous women that should be in this same category with the list of sexy women in Hollywood. Mariah is beautiful but don't get the hype about her beauty. Another example of enslavement of white or light is better. Now, our first lady, Michelle Obama is simply stunning. However, the obamas need to slow down on turning into celebrities, inviting all these entertainers to the white house or showing up at different non political events. I know some black people will still talk foolish about them not supporting enough but just ignore those ones. Barack is not president of NAACP, he's president of United states of America. Obamas need to keep in mind that they are also politicians, and hold the highest position. So, you want to get different people of different backgrounds, class, status votes while keeping it sohisticated and classy. Terrence Howard is one confused, identity crisis guy, needs to get help.

I've never heard any hype

I've never heard any hype about Mariah Carey's beauty because she's not one. Jenny Craig definitely needs a new spokesmodel. Sure she lost the pregnancy weight but I never liked her body pre-pregnancy. She doesn't even look curvy, she just looks like a blob. But hey, if Nick likes it. On the other hand, I always hear people say how gorgeous Gabby is. She and Kelly might be talked about more in hollywood if she could get some decent acting roles and Kelly could be consistent with her music.
