Brandy's reminding everyone why her voice can still kill it without production. Check out B-Rocka singing "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" a capella at her dad's church event inside...

We almost forgot what real singers sounded like. Until this video surfaced of Brandy at her father's, Willie Norwood Sr., recent Sing-A-Rama II gospel event.

She broke out the gospel hymn "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" for the church goers at the Westin Airport Hotel in Los Angeles. This is the 6th year her father has put on the event, which has been attended by Brandy many times.

Brandy's still working on her upcoming album and is set to release her "It All Belongs To Me" duet with Monica on February 6th.

Brandy do have a voice and she can sing, however the truth with this song is that she try to hard and did to much and it came off like she can't sing. It don't matter what her tone is just as long as she sing and carry her note's well. Brandy over sang and all those runs wasn't necessary because she didn't do that well. Brandy knew she was to perform so she should have spent her time practice until it was perfect. Now Monica would have rip that song until tears came runing down your face as well as Fantasia & Kim Burrell.

Brandy has a beautiful alto voice. It is unique, understated in some places and explosive in others. Plus, I love that she's an artist who has worked to improve her craft (and voice) over the years. It sounded wonderful!

SMH. Opinions are like a**holes...everybody has one. But I work with A LOT of singers and most of them do hold Brandy at a very high regard. She is very well respected in the industry, a plehoria of producers always want to work with her. And she's worked with the best. Quincy Jones, Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Diddy the Neptunes etc. So rather you like her or not its all reletive. Because there are a tremendous amount of people inside and outside the industry that really respect her instrument.

People on here are acting so lame. I agree, this is a matter of opinion. I personally love Brandy's voice and she gave me chills here. If she didn't for you, that's fine. At the end of the day, I hope she comes out with great songs to compliment her wonderful instrument. Her albums are considered to be classics to so many people...whether they sold or not, lol! Confused.... who the heck cares about so-called "technique"...who made up these ridiculous rules? I can see if she was singing waaaay off key or her voice ridculously cracked or something. She sounds great! She has has God given talent. When God gives it to you, you don't need to go to school to learn your craft. They were born with it! When he gives it to you, you don't need "technique," voice lessons, or a teacher to tell you if your good.

Brandy can be a singers singer all she wants. She has had 2 failed attempts at a come back and on her way to a 3rd because that low azz mumbling does not appeal to the masses. So she can keep singing in empty churches and have her voice appreciated if it means that much to her (and you!).

Everybody doesn't have to agree with you and nothing is wrong with their ears. Judging someone's singing IS subjective. Everybody is not going to hear the same thing or like the same sounds.
