I am happy that God blessed her to see another year but I can't lie...I was a diehard Alicia fan, but ever since this whole thing happen with Swiss and Mashonda I don't look at her the same anymore. She doesn’t owe us her fans an explanation about rumors but then again her music gave women strength, gave us hope on a man knowing our worth or it being ok to approach a man and not look easy, or taking a chance on love with unthinkable, I mean hers songs inspired men to open their hearts in Diary and spill what’s on their mind to someone who won't judge you; who will love you and who will listen. Was it all a game just to get money or was it her soul. No one knows. I believe she owed US her fans at that time some short of response. She was a role model to many, even little children. I use to braid my daughters hair like hers because of her style being so new and original. Alicia I wish her well but my heart feels differently about her as a woman and her choices. She said she wanted to be a role model and so we looked at her as such. I know some say that’s its just music. But as a REAL music lover I feel the music more when you have a connection. Like “yeah I know what you mean”. Now my question is what lesson has she learned??

I understand your point of view but I don't belive in getting involved with another person until it is offically over. Meaning DIVORCED. You never know if their was a change they could have worked things out. I belived she may have blurred his focus on wanting to. Independent, beautiful, loving down to earth.
