YBF EXCLUSIVE: On The Set Of SWV's "Co-Sign" Video

LeLee, Taj, and Coko of SWV are back...and are looking as fabulous as ever. TheYBF.com hit the set of the trio's comeback video for their new single "Co-Sign." And we've got the pretty pics and video footage of the ladies getting back to work...

For the stark-white and natural accented video, the ladies got to work at a lavish private residence in Atlanta yesterday. The Derek Blanks-directed visuals will be SWV's first video in 15 years.

Its clear there are alot of kids posting on here. You can tell by the comments. They're based on superficial crap that sells music and not talking about their talent and all the wonderful music these women have already left behind. This is what the current state of music has created, a young market only obsessed with looks and talented is not a real requirement. To be honest, you are really not the market that SWV or any real talent is after anyway. Their market are buyers looking for quality sounds because they work hard for their money and don't plan to spend it on someone with a pretty look but singing like a cat stuck in a drainpipe. So you only remind SWV and all the real talent to continue to make good music for their real music listeners and not you superficial kids.

To all of you people saying

To all of you people saying that their bodies look great and they look like real women, please go kill yourselves. I LOVE LOVE LOVE SWV, but damn these chicks are FAT as hell. To say that real women should be this size explains why we as a race are so damn obese and unhealthy, we think that FAT as hell means being a real woman. You don't have to be super skinny. but damn it be in shape like a Beyonce, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kim K or Jennifer Lopez type. This fat praise needs to stop. On a side note I hope that they put out some good music I love SWV and I want them to succeed, but they look terrible.

There was an article in

There was an article in Essence magazine that compared the body types of white women vs. black women. They showed 2 women at the same weight. The black woman has more muscle and in contrast looked smaller than the white woman. I agree that we need to lean down, however, we are going to be thicker than white women. Unfortunately, while in captivity, we were bred this way. It's genetics. For the record, pictures add 20-30#. These women are not fat in person. Especially Leele. Coko has slimmed own considerably. The women you mentioned, especially Kim K, has manufactured her so called "thick"look. She's had injections to get her butt and body sculpting to get her waist line. Beyonce is a younger woman than these girls, her baby is going to tear her a new one. She's going to have to work extra hard to get back in shape. Tracee? Huh? Blank stare. Jennifer Hoe-pez??? Isn't black and had lipo and a tummy tuck.

Beyonce is in her 30s but that doesnt mean that having a baby will destroy her body because she was already in great shape. Jill is plus sized, she was voted 1 of People's 50 must beautiful people. That's a crossover if there never were one. Point being, size doesn't sell good music sells. Who cares?? Sexist comment...Luther was big, little, big. As is Ruben Studdard, Chubby Chekers sold an image on being chubby, Fats Domino, Barry White. David Hollister is chunky, Rick Ross (if I must go THERE)....don't sexualize good music. Besides, I always see a big girl with a man on her arm and women with "substance" single and miserable.

I guess you're right then, I guess we should all go gain 100 lbs so we can walk around with a man on our arms...SMH Look I love SWV so my post has nothing to do with their voices, I'm talking about the fact that every time a fat or obese woman is featured or mentioned, the women on here say "that is what a real woman looks like"and get mad if anyone doesnt agree with them. Yet if the person is in shape they claim that the woman is too skinny, like being in shape is a sin or a crime. Also I agree that according to a man's standards Beyonce is considered thick, but according to some of these women Oprah, Chaka Khan, or old Kelly Price or Old Monique are just thick or curvy. That is my point. We embrace and uplift being fat and unhealthy like it is a good thing and then we pass our bad eating habits and disregard of a healthy lifestyle on to our children.

The last line was a joke. My first comment was based on you calling them fat, obese would've been more appropriate. Many people confuse obesity vs. fat. Obese a bmi of 25-35 Morbidly obese bmi greater than 35. Fat???? These women are not along the lines of Gabby S. Sorry she is FAT. Black women shouldn't be assessed along the lines of THEIR scales, we carry more muscle than white women do. That along with them having great voices and your comment being sexist, was the only point I was trying to make. Some of the comments about SWV looking like real women wasn't in reference to just their size, they aren't gimmicky ie Nikki Minaj, plastic ie. Salt and Peppa, and yes they can stand to loose more weight. But there are many more soci-economic factored psychological factors that contribute to the obesity of Blacks. Despite eating healthy and exercise, some are prone to genetics. You can't lump us all into the same category.

In modt cases, regardless of when people (especially young people) hear talent, the first thing WE analyze and critique is their weight/size. Look at Jiil Scott, Adele, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer hudson (when she was heavier). Do their sizes take away from their talent??!! There are many black gay men posting on these sites. If you notice the tone and the "cat" behavior then you will know who they are. They are the main ones demeaning black women on most of these sites. Female artists...no check that, ALL up and coming artists take notes: regardless of how long they have been away, you know you made an impact on the industry and your music was significant when all you have to do is say 'SWV' and people can run off and SING at least 2-3 of your songs from memory as if they are playing them on the radio right now...and guess what?
