REVEALED: Da Brat Gets MADE OVER By June Ambrose

Da Brat got out of jail last year and went right back to the same style she's had since the early 90's. So uber stylist June Ambrose has (finally) given her a new look for June's upcoming VH1 show.

Oh hey Shawntae. Da Brat lost the braids, barrettes, and over-sized tomboy clothes for her recent STYLED BY JUNE makeover. And Ms. Ambrose put Brat in a kilt, boots, leather blazer, and a shaggy layered blonde look as she prepped her to hit the Fashion Delivers red carpet last night.

And June looked her usual fabulous self as well. Loving these bold blues. Hope Brat keeps her up her reformed look!

I wonder: why do people

I wonder: why do people always figure a female is gay if she's a tomboy and like to wear baggy clothes. I'm a tomboy and I LOVE males in every way, form, and fashion. People also forget that Da Brat used to be in a relationship with boxer Roy Jones Jr. If she was gay, I think she'd know it. She doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. However, this style is not her at all. The kilt has to go. She can give me the boots if they have at the least, a 2 inch heel. Her hair is the best thing on her. If she wants to change up her style, she needs to make sure it's something she's comfortable with. Confidence in yourself helps to make your style work for you.

I thought I was the only one who saw this, June Ambrose ALWAYS dresses everyone the same, she even dressed the young girl who was on exfactor Rachel Crow, I saw her on Wendy Williams with the same type of outfit. Da Brat doesn't even look comfortable either, nothing about this says Da Brat. I'm a stylist as well and this shouldn't be about what you feel is your signature you need to work with the client and their personality. Smh

I saw Da Brat in the grocery store out in Sandy Springs and she was dressed in what is most comfortable to her. A big ass ponytail fro, bandana, over sized tshirt, and baggy shorts. Tom Boy all day. She needs to stop trying this pseudo sexy look. It clearly is uncomfortable for her. It seems as if people are trying to change her or telling her she needs to change to be successful. It's not working.

As much as I like June's outfit, her left foot (our right) looks like Jennifer Williams' husband (Eric's) forehead. It's time for her to lay off the 7 inch heels. YIKES!!!! And, I have to agree with every single comment here!! DaBrat looks terrible in the look. She doesn't even feel comfortable! I think June should stick to just styling men. She does better in that department. Ps. Am I the only one glad that June has given the turbans and those thick-rimmed glasses a break??

i love june ambrose but im starting to realize that she dresses everyone the same. This is what her new style for Trina looks like. Also, when she started dressing Chrisette Michelle all she did was style Chrisette like herself and give her turbans. I would like to see her utilize the individual's taste a little bit more.

1st off let me say that Da

1st off let me say that Da Brat may need to come to grip with the reality that her time may very well have passed. Very very few people can go away & stay away so long and make u successful come back regardless to how talented one may be. I mean, look @ Rakim, dude is the ABSOLUTE best to ever do it (excluding NObody) and he couldn't even pull it off! She's not nearly as talented as the R so...may wanna keep your own style if that's what works for you & what you're most comfortable with and find another career path. Re-inventing your look to make you look less "dykey" and therefore less threatening to the masculinity of the men who control the industry- isn't gonna get you any closer to the life or career that you once knew. It's only hindering the healing and growth process. 
