Tocarra Jones is looking all kinds of fabulous these days. The model/actress was spotted out in Beverly Hills shopping it up. We've got the pics of the svelte chick with her cutie pup inside...

Former "Top Model" and "Celebrity Fit Club" contestant Tocarra was spotted in her jeans and polka dotted blouse shopping at Herve Leger and Wolford yesterday in L.A. And she has her ridiculously cute tiny pup in tow.

Toccara, who turns 31 next month, made a few guest appearances on TBS' "Are We There Yet?" last season. And she also hit the red carpet of the ESSENCE Black Women In Music event last night. Our only question is...does this chick have a sponsor? We're not mad though. Do you boo.

Reading is fundamental. I Reading is fundamental. I said you don't go to Rodeo Drive looking like that. Since you want to dip into my background, I attended a small private HS in Santa Monica. I'm a born and raised Angeleno, West L.A. to be exact. I know where the paps go because I see them when I'm out and about. As many times as I've been to Rodeo, I don't usually see paps -- and I've been shopping there since I was a child. I'm close in age to Toccara, so if you can count (since reading seems to be an issue), you'll find that's a long time. I don't need to make anything up to appease theybf's readers. When I walk into the stores/boutiques I patronize, I'm greeted warmly by keyholders. I can buy what I want in-store or it is sent to me, as it can be for anyone who can afford it. Now continue reading stories about pseudo-celebs with their questionable bags and subpar attire. Meanwhile, some of us are out here buying our own bags, shoes, clothes, cars, jewelry, furs, homes, etc. I rely upon God and the mind he blessed me with, not a man or my genitalia. Please preach re: keeping up. For some people, shopping in Beverly Hills is 2nd nature. For others, it's a huge deal. When I spend my money, I'm buying something of quality. If my bag breaks (because an expensive bag will break just like a cheap bag will break), I can return my bag to Neiman for a full refund. Folks want to tear me down when I stated the obvious -- that Toccara's shoot looks staged and that "Birkin" looks faux. Meanwhile, they don't know who a Birkin is named after, don't know how long the waiting list is for one, don't know the starting costs, dimensions, which other boutiques (besides Hermes) sell authentic Birkins in So. Cal, etc. This is a lifestyle for me. I buy what I buy because I love quality. I will wear $4 or $5 plain t-shirts that I love, but I've also had my $300+ t-shirt collection. What you won't see me with is a knockoff anything. I won't embarrass myself by carrying a fake bag that can be seized at any given moment. (Knockoffs are illegal, btw.) If it's real, folks will know, just like if it's fake, folks will know. It's unfortunate that so many Black people don't really know the facts about the brands and just buy things because so-and-so is wearing them or their favorite rapper mention them in a song. I love the culture behind the brands. If I don't knock you for shopping at Marshall's, don't sweat me because I'm a Neiman girl. To each his or her own.
