MUSIC FAB: Usher's "Climax" + Estelle's "Wonderful Life" + Monica Sings "You Give Good Love"

Usher has been hitting the studio hard and is back with a brand new single entitled “Climax.” Listen to it inside and hear Estelle's "Wonderful Life" and watch Monica's tribute to Whitney Houston.

Set for a February 28th release, Usher is back with a new single called "Climax." The song will appear on his forthcoming album set for release later this spring. The track was written by Usher along with co-writers Redd Stylez, Ariel Rechtshaid, and Diplo, who also produced the single.

Diplo, who produced Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)" said, “It’s some next level electro-soul. Seriously the best record I’ve been part of. Really proud of it.”

Then Usher jokingly tweeted,

We already know that

We already know that Whitney's voice was nurtured in the church, but her vocals soared beyond that. SHE did not sound like just another church singer. You could hear the church foundation but without the harsh yelling and over singing. The tone, power and range of her voice was perfection and far beyond what a Monica or Jennifer Hudson type of singer have to offer. Those type of singers are a dime a dozen. She was totally in another league.

Yeah I agree. I like Monica and all but she just sounded like any girl off the street singing that song, nothing special. Of course I'm not expecting her to sound like Whitney, but she just didn't sound so good in my opinion. Kind of like an American Idol audition. I have heard her sound much better. @ Why...I agree about the screaming non-singing church voices especially in the case of someone like Jennifer Hudson, just awful.

im sure all the other videos in this video are great.... BUT....EVERYBODY KNOWS....i loooovvveeeeeeeeee my URSHER baby! this climax song....can we talk about it??? 1. the title of the song made me side eye him.....just too tacky for a grown man who should just be doing grown music BUT i was secretly surprised that it wasnt about what u would think. so thats a good start 2. i hated the production. im sorry. i really did. the arrangement is all wrong for a song that lyrically had good enough content to be taken seriously and actually something people can relate too! the arrangement didnt "climax" with the words of the song...it didnt take u on a joy ride of the emotion that the song COULD HAVE had...it was just overbearing...and just seemed like an attempt to get alot of airplay after 10pm on the way to a rave or something [sigh] 4. vocally....it was okay! again, there was no "climax" to progress u through a journey of the song! maybe im expecting usher to go back to some of the great r&b classic fans loved him for...wth is this techno-ish stuff? which is cool but....its not the ursher im looking for at this moment... ne way...

I think Monica has a great

I think Monica has a great voice. I've NEVER watched Glee and never plan to but I DID YouTube the Riley young lady & she was great as well. I agree with the comments about the hate & constant stream of negativity. So many people have "flipped flopped" and are being quite ingenuine b/c it was all jokes, criticism and judgement passed on Whitney as recent as Thursday and Friday and then when she passes she's "A legend", "the epitome of talent" she'll be missed and always loved!
