I think its cute she LOVES that man! she was just tired of him cheating on her and the money believe me wasn't an issue because even if they had a pre-nup she was getting some money! Not once out of their whole situation did I hear her say anything bad about Kobe other than she wasn't dealing with him cheating and disrespecting her anymore! Dang is she wrong for that? It wouldn't surprise me if she still Loved him love doesn't just go away like that!

1. Who said it was Vanessa who wanted the divorce? Maybe it was Kobe. 2. I'm not even mad if Vanessa was the one who wanted the divorce and is now "dating" Kobe. No matter how much people want to hate on Vanessa, she's smart. She likely came to a point where she was like "Okay I have enough money to walk away and be fine. I don't need to stick around for another 100 million and be miserable". Plus she gets added benefits because she was with him for 10+years (like alimony, social security, etc). Oh and then there's the child support. She is SET! And now that she is "divorced" (but i guess it's still pending, but lets just say they do get a divorce) she can do whatever she wants and not have to be committed in the bonds of "marriage". She probably was faithful for 10 years, had her expectations and her husband miserably kept failing by cheating. At least she doesn't have to worry about THAT part of her relationship with KObe anymore because they are not married. She's letting him be. And she is likely going to do whatever she wants now--- date other men INCLUDING Kobe. And NOT have to answer to a husband, as a faithful wife would --- especially since the husband wasn't faithfully answering back! And who is Kobe going to have to even compete with her on top of that?!! I mean of course he can find an intelligent woman, a beautiful woman, and a woman with a career of her own. But Vanessa is likely smart, definitely is beautiful, and though she doesn't have a "career" she definetly has the MONEY! So Vanessa KNOWS she has him in his pocket. Unless he pulls a beautiful woman who has money like Beyonce or Giselle Bunchen there really is no competition for Vanessa. And where is there an arena of young beautiful women with that type of money like there is with men (NBA, NFL, MLB,)? No where! He's going to have to get a serious match maker who knows the few women in wall street, and who are grossing millions annually with their own brands. And of course she remembers how good the good-good was, and him vice versa. So why not call up when you want it?! I wouldn't be suprised if they were screwing each other the night before the papers were filed, the night they were filed, and the day after.

While I'm by no mean a "vanessa Bryant fan" i can't be mad at a woman for trying to keep her family together. A divorce is a humongous thing for a family and when 2 little girl are involved then everything possible should be attempted to save the unity of the family. Good luck to them

I personally HOPE that Vanessa and Kobe reconcile!! They have two little GIRLS to consider and they should be the MOST IMPORTANT factor..(that is if kobe or her are not cheating or beating each other up) Work it out!! People please do your da** research! No one files for divorce in December and the divorce is finalized in February. These two are still LEGALLY married. Although they have filed for the divorce they're still working out settlement issues which shouldn't be finalized until around June. THEN, once that's finalized and signed off on, the divorce has to be finalized in its entirety. Again, they are still very much married AND from the looks of it may be trying to reconcile. I don't see a thing wrong with that.

Technically, they aren't divorced yet. Just because you file doesn't mean you have to go through with it. Maybe their reconciling. More power to them.

I am with Vanessa and Kobe on this one! Mind your own business...they do not care what anyone is going to say...they can go back to being friends and lovers if they want.....the kids are not worse for it! In this life you got to do what you think is best for you! Starting over and attempting to save a relationship is to be respected. Folks are so quick to label women golddiggers or being fools! Life is a journey and life is precious.....in life you make mistakes those little girls rather have momma boyfriend be daddy than a new guy! And now all those other women who mess with Kobe knows where Kobe's heart is and his money!
