Whitney Houston's Funeral Invitation REVEALED + Aretha Franklin SPEAKS OUT, Says Whitney Lost Her Way

Whitney Houston funeral invitation has been revealed and we have it inside. Also, find out with Aretha Franklin and Ray J had to say about their dear friend.

The funeral invitation for Whitney Houston "Home Going Service" has been revealed along with infomation about the services' coverage.

Fans of the singer will be able to watch a live stream of the services beginning at 11:30AM ET/8:30AM PT on BET News and CENTRIC.

And on tv,

Whitney's godmother, Aretha Franklin, who's also singing at the service, opened up to Al Roker on the "TODAY" Show where she revealed how she got the news.

"I had just finished watching George Clooney in 'The Descendants,' and I flipped back to the regular TV and maybe two minutes after I did it came across the screen. I just jumped up off the side of the bed."

And when commenting on Whitney's life struggles, she added,

"Parents have to really talk to their children before they leave home. She left home with all the right things; she just kind of lost her way along the way somewhere."

Also, Ray J has also broken his silence saying,

"Over the past few days, I've tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing. What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend Nippy, I miss you so much! You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever."

Do we really know what it's like to live your life through the eyes of America constantly watching you? Do we really know what it's like to keep up this perfect image to please others? Do we really know what it's like to be flawless in the eyes of the world? The answer to all these questions is NO! I couldn't imagine being Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson. They were some of the biggest cross over African American singers ever. These are the people that paved the way for the young stars we see today and we as Americans have judged their lives and every move under the microscope. I know I've made mistakes in life, but some of those mistakes I'm happy people don't know about because I have a chance to right my wrongs of my private life. Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson didn't have that option. Once people see you do something wrong, you can do all the good in the world and they will never forget what you did that was wrong. That is unless if your Britney Spears or Charlie Sheen. These two stars are no different then Michael and Whitney, but their flaws are some how easily forgotten in White America while African Americans are only known for their flaws in their news. Whitney was a church girl who lived under the thumb of her christian mother. Bobby Brown was the total opposite. He was like her freedom from her perfect but not flawless image she had to portray. I think that's why she feel in love with him. He was her edge, her adrenaline rush from her uptight christian life. She really loved Bobby and his edgy side. You know they do say opposites attract. She felt free with him because edgy people are less likely to judge you which allowed her to do things and try different things other people wouldn't approve of. Bobby loved Whitney and excepted her for who she was. He was from the hood so he didn't mind " crazy Whitney". Behind closed doors they were much alike, but in the eyes of the world they were seen differently. I believe Bobby Brown brought out the worst in Whitney and her finances allowed Bobby to indulge more into his bad side, meaning drugs. Their relationship was just toxic, but I in no way blame Bobby for Whitney's addiction. I do however blame him for making her situation worst by abusing her, manipulating her, and mistreating her. But keep in mind, they were both on drugs and maybe some of his actions was due to his addiction as well. I also blame America for constantly putting her down, judging her terribly and making fun of her misery in the media, on the web, in the magazines and in the newspaper. That had to be depressing and humiliating which pushes her to do drugs. Then I blame her for even trying drugs and allowing it to destroy her. Overall, we are all sinners and no one sin is better than the other. I love you Whitney, regardless of your flaws. I wish we had more good times of you at the height of your career then what we saw from the media of your down falls. Jesus loves you, yes he does. For the Bible tells you so. I will always love you . RIP Whitney Elizabeth Houston

BB maybe did not get her into

BB maybe did not get her into drugs, but he molested, abused, humiliated, used and betrayed her, and that is enough to see him as what he is-a garbage. The only thing he made of his life is to be a hubby of WH, so he would have been even a bigger loser if she had not marry him. Whitney made mistakes but her legacy is music while her ex has no legacy at all. Whitney did not get just enough love, help and forgiveness every true artist needs to survive.

So agree and Thank You for stating that! Addiction is a disease. No one person or thing or failure in life can get you addicted to alcohol or drugs. For one to be not an addict of food, alcohol, drugs (amongst a list of things), you would have to remove all the food, alcohol, and drugs in the world. It just takes one taste of it to crave more. Hard times, bad relationships, and tragedies do not make addictions easier, and some ppl use their addiction to cope. Yet also at the same time, it is the addiction which is causing these crises.

I'd LOVE to talk to the family. Especially about how they stood by and watched Whitney, who is a 20 year- addict get drunk. How they saw her getting stoned on prescription pills. I think only her family should be there if it's going to be private other than that they might as well have had it in an Arena. Ray J is the only celeb that seem to be down with Whitney through thick and thin, he was the only one willing to be photoed with her at her worst moments, even though I still think he is appreciating this little bit of attention he is getting. .
