Whitney Houston's role in The Bodyguard will be recreated by Heather Hedley for a stage musical set to debut in London in November of 2012.
Plans for a Waiting To Exhale sequel will proceed forward in spite of Whitney's death. In fact, Oprah Winfrey is being floated as a replacement.

And at LAX......

Brandy and Ray J were spotted at LAX catching a flight to NYC.

They will both be attending Whitney Houston's funeral tomorrow. Earlier, Ray J spoke about their relationship.

I love Whitney Houston!! As a young girl singing in HS, I remember when she came out there was just something about her I gravitated to instantly!! She became my musical icon then and I've loved her ever since! Even though we all love our YBF's and other gossip sites, I would encourage us all to enjoy being entertained, but let's all maybe try just a little to be a little less judgmental and harsh because, these "entertainers" are still someones child, mother, father, sister or brother. Even though they share there lives in the spotlight and sometimes the things we see them do in their lives do not always portray them in the best light, we must pray for them and send love and positive thoughts to them and just love them despite themselves, why...because they belong to us as a community and we belong to God and it's what HE wants!! Lets ALL do better! Keep God First! Amen...

Today is the day I want to celebrate Mrs Houston and what she meant to many of us who was born late 60's and 70' s I'm not.saying that young people couldn't have loved her but we had real music entertainment the person who said MJ he didn't have that feeling about him as he did with WH but to many of us we got to love our singers without Facebook or any of this social media stuff it was aove that we had for prince MJ WH LV JJ and so many more that set the bar high and these new comers want to come along but all I see Is them acting like fools and then I see a lot of our old singer's trying to get. Back to what they was. And to us get fans of WH she didn't have to try fit in she was in. Brandy and RJ are sad case. Brandy has done more then her brother but RJ just want to have fame so bad that he don't care who he steps over to get there. Much love Whitney rip final

Brandy ADORED Whitney. And she died on Brandy's bday! Brandy and Monica were supposed to perform at Clive Davis' party but they canceled their performance because of what happened. All of her TV appearances were obviously already scheduled prior to Whitney's death! Get a clue about the business before you talk trash! And Brandy saw her just a few days before. AND Whitney gave her a secret note that everyone is asking her about but she won't say what it was about. She was a close friend of their family for a long time. I'm not sure how her and Ray J started dating, but hey, Whitney really seemed to like him and he dated her WAY BEFORE she died and WAY BEFORE all you fools started to remember why Whitney was such an icon. And AFTER she hit the brink of drug abuse. He obviously really cared for her to even pursue her while in that state. Most of ya'll were dogging her out about the way she looked and struggled with her voice after the drugs. Don't try to come on here and switch your stance now because she passed away!

Your comment is on point. I'll just say that I'm not fake and although I adored Whitney's incredible voice I lost a lot of respect for her because of her drug problems. No one's perfect but am I supposed to admire an addict? Regardless of how you feel about someone, once they pass I think it's natural to say nice things about them. It's called respecting the dead. Even the most evil human being will have at least one person conjure up a good memory of him at his funeral.

Thank you so much for putting this post up. I have seen a lot of negitive talk about Whitney that was never said until her passing. And i agree with the comment on how folks trashed talked her and now what to say how much they love her. I have been a die heart Whitney fan since I was like 7 and now im 32 and still her biggest fan through the good and bad I never stopping loving Whitney when fell for a monent. R.I.P Whitney Houst Queen of Pop!!!!!!

People will always be trifling pieces of sh**! Thanks for standing up for her. I used to watch her reality show and cringe with what was happening in her life. There will be no other Whitney. Fame has taken far too many victims that could not handle the pressure. This one is so tragic though, it hurts more than other people that have passed in the last few years. She was a lost soul...God rest her soul.

I am still in shock. I still can't believe that Whitney is actually not living anymore. I have always loved her music. I have many cassettes with her music, yes cassettes & cd. I also have VHS music videos of Whitney. I am just so saddened, and will miss her greatly. May our Dear Lord bless & take care of her dear daughter, & all her grieving family & friends. God gave us Whitney an wonderful and beautiful singer, person for only a short while. I am glad that we had great music to listen to and that she changed history. I believe your life is already destined we can followed the path or changed it. I am glad to Mrs. Cissy Houston for producing such a beautiful person. Remember the great things about Whitney, stop trying to analyze her life it is not for us to judge, she has only one judge and that is God. ITA. MJ's death didn't affect me like this. Whitney's in the upper echelon of the greatest singers to ever walk the face of the earth. The best most of us have ever seen. She was total package though. She was as talented as she was beautiful. She intelligent, articulate and charismatic. You can't say that about any of today's artist.
