POLITICAL CHIC: Beyonce, Mama Tina & Mom-In-Law Gloria Carter Roll To Obama 2012 NYC Fundraiser

Tonight at the Greenwich Hotel in NYC, Beyonce Knowles threw on a fabulous navy Victoria Beckham dress to hit up the Obama 2012 fundraiser. And she brought her family of women along.

With a slicked back ponytail and new mommy glow still in tact, Beyonce made her way to actor Robert De Niro's Tribeca hotel (which he owns), The Greenwich Hotel, to support President Obama's re-election campaign.

The "Countdown" singer made it a family affair bringing along her mom Tina Knowles, mother-in-law Gloria Carter & cousin Angie Beyince:

Bey paired her chic and sleek fitted VB dress with black Nicholas Kirkwood sandals, a Lanvin eagle necklace & diamond Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

Looking gorgeous as always.

The cocktail event featured an appearance from First Lady Michelle Obama, whom Beyonce worked with last spring on the Let's Move campaign. The event was co-hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Star Jones, Angela Bassett and committee member Tina Knowles.

And just how could you have found yourself in this room schmoozing it up with the A-list? Just drop a cool $5,000 for one ticket to the reception plus a photo with the First Lady. For $25,000, guests were allowed to attend a private "greet" session with Mrs. O.

As a nation, we tear dwn each other way too much - we don't all have to be a fans of Beyonce but we all can acknowledge that she has achieved a lot as a woman of colour. Whether she brought the baby or not, Blue is here and she is obviously happy. We need to understand, that these people are humans and they hurt just as we do when hurtful things are said about and we push them over the edge. I think she worked out during her pregnancy. Ppl need to realize this woman is always in the spotlight. While some of us can sit back n eat as we please n enjoy our pregnancies, she had to watch her figure and diet which is y it was so easy to loose the weight. HELLO ppl, many celebs have graced the red carpet as early as 2 weeks after giving birth! These ppl can afford to hire the best trainers and nutritionist that money can buy...another thing...does any1 remember how quickly she slimmed down for cadillac records??? So obviously her body has that capability...and lastly if her swollen nose, feet and glow didnt say real pregnancy then....she is known as one of the hardest working women in show biz so imagine what it takes to keep that spot...

You guys need to give it a rest. Bey barely looked pregnant when she was, so snapping back to her old self with her trainer, a good diet and little surgery, should work. If she had looked as big as Jessica Simpson is now and lost it all in two months, I would say, good for her. But, when you have folks questioning your pregnancy and all they kept using was the size of your nose to prove you were indeed pregnant, I say, snapping back to a size 4 shouldn't be that difficult.
