Dawn Richard just dropped her official "Bombs" video from her R&B/Soul EP, Armor On. Check out the video, which premiered last night on "106 & Park," inside...

In true warrior princess form, Dawn saddles up for her full solo studio album debut with her new mini EP Armon On. The track "Bombs," a follow up to "S.M.F.U.," appears on the EP and Dawn explained the concept of the video saying:

"I wanted the art direction to be cohesive with the song and sound of the EP. Warriors fighting for the same cause. 'Bombs' is the 'Hearts have arrived' record."

The video features tribal-inspired dance and warrior imagery.

Armor On is currently available on iTunes.

Wow, Go Dawn that was hot, loved the dancing, the custumes, makeup and the song. I don't get the continue comparison of Beyonce's "We Rule The World" but anyone has the right to do their take on it. What I like most about Dawn is she is the only one of from Danity Kane that has stayed true to her art. She was the only one who showed she was serious about her talent. She is not trying sell sex but herself as a artist so you have to give it to her. She is trying to establish herself has as serious artist who doesn't have time to make sure she is at all the parties, dressing stanky, she is trying to get 'her' money. Big props to Dawn, I know her family has to be proud!!!

love how this vid had a

love how this vid had a certain kind of authenticity- loved the vid...need some time to digg the sound but loved the message! Can't compare it to Beyonce's run the world for I already loved the track when I heard it on Major Lazer's "Pon De Floor"-didn't like it because of Beyonce though. Once I heard the track I couldn't take her serious for selling it as her own and all her african dancing and posing...naaaaaaaay- didn't strike me at all. As to Dawn_ great work!!!

The song wasn't ready yet for

The song wasn't ready yet for release. It needs to be tweaked, the chorus and verses are kind of mashed so it's hard to find the chorus, and when you DO then it's hard on the ear especially the "bombs awayeeeeeee" part. even Soulja Boy knew that the key to commercial success is a catchy, infectious, and unforgettable hook. The video is way too Run The World by Beyonce, and the steps need a lil boost. A for effort, and raw talent. C+ for overall quality of product.

This video is a complete rip off of Run the World by Beyonce and you all know it there is nothing original here the dancing is a bit different but anyone with ears and eyes can she she is copying Bey's vid Dawn should of done something totally different so there would not be comparisons, the song sucks anyway.
