The Obamas Get EASTER FAB For Church & Celebrate With Military Families

President Barack Obama led his family on a walk to Easter church services yesterday morning at at St. John's Church in Washington D.C.--just one block from the White House.

First Lady Michelle Obama rocked a purple Thakoon frock, a cropped black cardigan and black flats for her stroll to church on Easter Sunday. Her Presidential hubby looked equally dapper, as usual, and their daughters Sasha and Malia looked their usual cute selves. Loving this yellow on little Sasha!

The Fam held hands and told the crowd Hapy Easter as they walked back to the White House. It was the First Family's second time attending Easter services at St. John, D.C.'s historic church.

And later yesterday afternoon, First Lady Michelle celebrated with military families, as the families of those serving tin the military are one of her main causes she has upheld during the Obamas' reign:

The kiddies and their fams got to make Easter arts & crafts and have some fun with the First Fam at Fisher House.

It has been over a month

It has been over a month since the murder of our young brother, cousin, nephew, and son Trayvon Martin. The murderer of the slain has not been arrested as of today 4/9/12. I’m sure many of us are baffled as to why this case is being drawn out , when there are more than enough details and evidence to conclude that this was indeed a vicious hate crime. Many of us are at our wits end. We have signed petition after petition and attended rally after rally, only to have Trayvon’s character questioned as if he is not the deceased victim in the case. What do we do now? We #SHUTITDOWN2012. We stop spending our hard earned money in businesses/ corporations who fund laws such as the Stand Your Ground Law which just so happens to be the law that is protecting Trayvon Martins killer from being arrested. The first stop is WALMART. They were influential in the passing of this law among many other systematic ways to violate the melanin enriched people of the U.S.A.
