REPORT: Lamar Odom Was DEPRESSED & MOODY During His Time With The Mavs

Khloe Kardashian has publicly voiced her support for husband Lamar Odom. And the couple's friends say Lamar has been depressed and moody since his trade to the Dallas Mavericks, and now sudden departure from the team. Get the deets inside....

Reality star Khloe Kardashian was spotted arriving at LAX right after it was announced that Lamar Odom was leaving the Dallas Mavericks. And now she's publicly announcing her support for her husband.

Reports say Lamar has been depressed and moody since his trade to the Dallas Mavericks and Khloe wants to be there for him.

Lam Lam's (Khloe's name for him) foul mood all started with his trade from the LA Lakers. A source close to the couple said,

"Lamar hasn't gotten over being traded from the Lakers, and he has been depressed and moody ever since the trade happened. Lamar felt that he was ripped away from his Laker family with no warning or notice. He couldn't fathom the fact that the Lakers traded him after all of his years with the team."

And since the trade, Lamar never found his footing and decided to leave the Mavericks. He released a statement saying,

"The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it's in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team. I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs' organization, my team mates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship."

In support of her husband, Khloe tweeted:

I'm sure we'll get to see all this drama play out on their reality show because we know with these folks.....THE CAMERAS ARE ALWAYS ROLLING....

At the end of the day, whether you like him or not, he is totally acting foolish. Dude, you are making millions doing what you love. The game hasn't changed, just the team. If you are great at something, you are great no matter where you play. Your greatness isn't dependant on an organization. You can be great in the streets if you have to. You have everyday people working three times harder than you and you are whining about not being in LA? How dumb are some of these celebs? There is always someone younger and better every year in the NBA. You are older than you were when you started. During the show they express that Lamar is a very emotional individual. I dont think that makes him a baby I think that just makes him Lamar Odom. He's lost alot of people in his life, he has no mother, no grandmother, no aunt, no father he has no family so The Lakers became that for him. His life is more than basketball its about the love. Everyone knows you work better when you love what you're doing. Regardless of the team if you not into it mentally it's not going to work. At the end of the day Lamar is a good player and a good person. It's hard to find men out there that's willing to say fuck the money I have to do whats best for me, and leaving was what was best. This is when he needs that strong black woman for his support system, the Kardashians of course will implement this into the show to get more viewers and money. I can understand the sorrow

I can understand the sorrow for the loss of his cousin and the incident with the teen that was hit and killed by the car he was a passenger in, but as far as BASKETBALL is concerned...he has been traded before and knows this is a BUSINESS and NOT personal. Lamar Odom is too sensative and emotional. The original Chris Paul deal didn't go through so he should have considered that a blessing, since he really wanted to remain a Laker anyway.
