UPDATE: George Zimmerman SPEAKS & SOLICITS Donations, Florida Special Prosecutor Decides AGAINST Grand Jury

The killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin continues to makes headlines across the nation as the special prosecutor appointed to the case has decided not to convene a grand jury. And in other shocking news, the shooter, George Zimmerman, is now taking donations to help aid in his "defense." Get the deets inside.....

After the killing of Trayvon Martin almost two months ago, there are now new developments where shooter George Zimmerman is concerned.

In a shocking move that raised many eyebrows, the special prosecutor investigating the shooting decided AGAINST putting together a grand jury to seek an indictment against George Zimmerman. As a result, it means George CANNOT be charged with first-degree murder. "The state must go forward and be able to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt," said Angela Corey, the special prosecutor assigned to the case.

This doesn't mean Zimmerman won't be charged with anything at some point. It's still a disheartening turn of events.

Meanwhile, George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin, started a website last night (which crashed within minutes) where he is soliciting donations. He said in a statement for the first time via his site,

“As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without any intermediaries."

Interesting that there are actually people out there who are going to send this man their money. And the audacity of this man to talk about his inconveniences after shooting an unarmed boy several times. It just gets more disgusting as things develop.

UPDATE: George Zimmerman's lawyers have announced that they are NO LONGER representing him because he has cut off contact with them and has been making his own decisions.

I have now come to the conclusion that the state of Florida is just not willing or interested in seeking justice for the poor boy and his family. So i'm done talking about this. I leave the rest to God to deal with this situation the way he sees fit. I mean when it gets to the point whereby the offender has the nerve to ridicule, and seek donation and support for his wrong doing, then i seriously believe there isn't much hope left. i'm just in awe, that he has'nt even been arrested yet. the police told him not to follow, pursue, trayvon and he did it anyway. that's ground for arrest, he disobeyed orders from the police. sometimes if the police are directing traffic (for whatever reason) and they tell you to stop or detour you in another direction and you disregard their command, see what happens. they will arrest you, with no hesitation. so i don't know why he was'nt arrested on those grounds alone. he not only pursued trayvon, but killed him.

I am so sick and tired of us as Black people crying, marching, and begging for justice when a case like this involves one of our own. Enough is dammit enough. If this were my child I would have BEEN done begging the world for justice and me and my family would have taken justice into our own hands, by ANY MEANS necessary, and when people asked where Zimmerman was, WE would KNOW! This is just a slap in the face that you see so many Black people both ordinary citizens and the prominent ones marching and singing about justice for weeks and end, and what has come of it? Absolutely nothing! And Zimmerman still gets to breathe everyday. If enough Black people started taking justice into our own hands when these unfortunate events occur instead of appealing to the "system", I guarantee we would see less of this, because then people would know that we can be ruthless and not to be messed with when one of our own has been blatantly murdered. This case has gained huge media coverage not because a Hispanic/ JEW killed a young Black boy. It has gained all of this attention because he stalked and killed him in cold blood, and wasn't arrested because there was a law supporting shooting to kill if you’ve felt threatened by the other party. This law is The Stand your Ground law which just so happened to be supported by WALMART . WALMART happens to be one of the top distributors of guns in the good ole U.S.A. So in essence we are all to blame for Zimmerman being free. Keep shopping at WALMART if you want but I will never step foot in that place again. Tupac said it best. We aint meant to survive cause it’s a set up, and even though your fed up… gotta keep ya head up.
