Yeah....it's going to be an adjustment. It's been the two of them for a long while so it's going to be a BIG adjustment. I think that they are probably still tweaking out the routine on how to manage marriage, an over the top career and now parenthood. Really for ANY couple, celebrity or not, filthy rich or not,....it's always a big adjustment when you have to add the hat of parent to the line up of other hats to juggle. Not to mention, the role of the traditional grandmother just sitting home waiting for the grandchildren to arrive, or playing the babysitting role is practically over these days....THEY HAVE A CAREER AND BUILD A SOCIAL LIFE outside the family TOO these days....it's comparable to the evolution of housewives to career women. Grandmothers aren't just about being cookie baking, stay at home grandmothers anymore. I'm sure for the two of them simply finding ANY ole nanny would needless to say be trying too because of extreme trust and privacy issues...they ARE Jay-Z and Beyonce'....no telling how many people come with no GENUINE or HONORABLE intentions and ethics. All in all, things may or MAY NOT be sacrificed or limited in terms of social gatherings or career but I don't think it spells neglect or should be concluded as them being carefree or careless parents simply because they want to spend some time together as a COUPLE to have an afternoon out, or in fact, use their financial priviledge and wherewithall to DO IT ALL and do it all well. Because on the other hand, for all WE know, they KNEW/PLANNED how they were going to manage from the moment they knew Beyonce' was pregnant, and all they had to do was fall in line with the role of being parents and just adjust accordingly. Taking into consideration that they DO NOT have a typical/standard career and they both seem to be strategic individuals and business savvy, it was obvious to them that they would need a gameplan once the baby arrived and again planned to accommodate accordingly. Case in point, Beyonce's more or less discreet arrival and exit from the hospital for the baby's birth. That certainly wouldn't spell neglect to me....more like particular and smart. Most people scramble to adjust after a baby because they took things for granted (like assuming grandma would be home waiting to accommodate every time they call) or that they would just enrol the child in daycare and that's that....and find out later that the daycare is full or too costly. Bottom line, until/unless I read that Beyonce' had her child in the driver's seat, in her lap of a moving car, or dangling her child over a balcony, I can't say she/they are doing anything out of the ordinary or neglectful by trying to carry on with their careers or social life after becoming parents.
