Singer/Model Cassie decided to have some fun in NYC yesterday. She and her friends took over an ice cream truck after dancing in the street. Pics inside...

When you've got a craving, you've just got a craving. After playing around and dancing in the streets of NYC, Cassie didn't feel like waiting for an ice cream sandwich from a street truck, so she hopped inside to get it herself.

Ha.

I see somebody spilled their treats. So Cass hugged and danced it up with her peoples:

Fun times. Cassie's will return to "106 & Park" tonight to redeem herself for her first tv performance in 6 years. But she made sure her "King of Hearts" performance wasn't live. They taped it yesterday and it airs tonight. Here's a sneak peek of her backstage with her dancers:

Sorry but this chicks music sucks first of all in king of hearts the music was louder than her singing and her voice sounds so auto tuned and her hair has to go. Her baby face doesn't fit that hairstyle she's pretty but I think kae tran is way prettier don't mean to hate but it needed to be said

Unless she is planning to keep it forever and make it her signature (a la Grace Jones' high-top fade or Sinead O'Connor's baldy), an exit strategy is in order for real; because it will take some time to transition into a full head of hair.

I think this girl is

I think this girl is adorable. She looks like she is enjoying life. This comment here, "But she made sure her "King of Hearts" performance wasn't live." was so unnecessary. We all know Cassie is not the greatest singer to ever do it, but she is hardly the only one who tapes performances for shows, rather than sing live. This is pretty much the norm for the business today. There is so much trickery in the music biz now, you don't know who's singing and who isn't; but to put her on blast at every opportunity is petty and makes one wonder WHY YOU MAD?
