PICS & VIDEO: Cassie Returns To The "106 & Park" Stage To Perform "King Of Hearts"

She's had 6 years to practice. And she hasn't performed on tv since her utter failure of a performance back in 2006 on BET's "106 & Park." Check out Cassie Ventura's do-over on tonight's episode inside...

Hitting the stage with her signature long hair and shaven sides with a group of energetic dancers, 25-year-old Cassie seemed to improve from her first go-round, relatively speaking. With a more confident demeanor and voice, Bad Boy's pretty First Lady performed her new single "King of Hearts" in a taped performance for her Cassie Army in the "106 & Park" audience:

It wasn't the most vocally strong performance but was pretty good for her. And the whimsical electro-dance style of the song doesn't necessarily need powerful vocals. She seems to have been practicing those dance skills as well. Wonder if her boo/boss/former backup dancer Diddy led her in a few rehearsals...

Cassie seemed ecstatic to be on stage and told her fans during her interview with host Rocsi, "My fans that are here--they know the vibe and the sound and they really inspired me too. I just want to take a second to thank you guys so much. You have supported me non stop, through and through. And I'm so lucky."

She will perform a 20 minute set and the "King of Hearts" in Spain this summer. She will be one of the performers during a concert that will see 60,000 people.

Cassie in front of 60,000 spainards. LOL! She is going to be awful. She will lip sync as usual and still sound terrible. She will look somewhat put together, walk around like she is hot shit and sing a song in English to a bunch of hehehehehe... non English speakers whose culture is based on gold digging and sleeping with your boss to get ahead. And they will really celebrate her because she's one of them, LIGHT SKIN with long hair. Oh the irony. She'll be a huge success. I hope she builds her fan base there and stays there. Forever.

Simply song, has that jump

Simply song, has that jump and down beat but she's a vacant lot, she is not even feeling her own song, her audience can’t believe if she doesn’t. I know it takes a lot for her to return to the one place she once failed but she needs some RiRi attitude along with some Beyonce dance moves. Her performance says a lot about her personality, there’s not much there. After 5 years this is what she brings!!!!!! Disappointed, I was really wishing for her stake that she would do better and put the rumors to rest. She displays too many inhibitions and she is too self-conscience. If she really is looking to become a performer she will read these comments, it could only improve her performance. Take some lessons from her ex-label mate Dawn, Cassie isn’t hungry enough to go after this singing thingy of hers……

I saw Cassie's performance

I saw Cassie's performance yesterday. It was such a low energy, lackluster performance. She is promoting the hell out of "KOH" like it's a really great song. She is a pretty girl and she dresses well, but singing is not her forte. She needs to stick to modeling and maybe try designing jewelry or accessories.

She was lip syncing for one and she had no crowd interaction as she was looking straight ahead the whole time while performing looking like a scared dog. Dance moves were stiff as hell too. She's complete GARBAGE and needs to never get on a stage again *drops mic*

Nope. If beauty was all you needed then she would've made a bigger splash back in 2006. It's 6 years later and she's still trying to become relevant. Don't get me wrong, beauty definitely goes a long way, but you also need that IT factor to make it worth something. Cassie doesn't have that.
