President Barack Obama stopped by "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last night where he joined Jimmy and The Roots to "slow jam" the news. Watch the hilarious clip inside and see President Obama talk about keep the student loan interest rate down and White House living.

President Obama sat down with Jimmy Fallon last night for a wide ranging interview that covered everything from higher education and student loans to what it's like to live in the White House.

The duo began with a funny segment where President Obama joined Jimmy and The Roots to slow jam about the State of The Union.....

PRESIDENT OBAMA: I’m President Barrack Obama. And I too want to slow jam the news! On July first of this year the interest rate on Stafford student loans, the same loans many of you use to help pay for college, are set to double. That means some hard working students will be paying about a thousand dollars extra just to get their education. So I’ve called on Congress to prevent this from happening. What we’ve said is simple: now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people.

JIMMY FALLON: Oh yeah. You should listen to the President – or, as I like to call him, the Preezy of the United Steezy…Things are heating up inside of Congress’s chambers, behind all those closed doors. So the president made a few discreet calls across the aisle. He said ‘Hey, let’s get together on this one.” With college getting more expensive, is it enough by itself to satisfy all your collegiate needs? Ah, Pell no!

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Now there’s some in Congress who disagree. They say keeping the interest rate low isn’t the way to help our students. They say we should be doing everything we can to pay down the national debt. Well, so long as it doesn’t include taxing billionaires. But their position is that students just have to make this rate increase work. Frankly I don’t buy it.

JIMMY FALLON: Mmm-mmm-mmm! The Barackness Monster ain’t buying it. We all know our legislative bodies in the House, tossing and turning late into the night, but still Republicans disagree and could even filibuster. But, if they do, the president said, they’re gonna feel it, buster.

WTF are you talking about??? Granted, Bush is/was beyond an idiot, but in terms of foreign policy, how is Obama any different? Bush got us into a war (Iraq) that we have/had no business being in, AND he provided tax breaks for the rich. However, Obama got us into 5 MORE wars (Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Yemen, and now Syria) that we have no business being in, after bailing out the 1% with 700 BILLION dollars!!!! Bush told promises and didn't deliver, and so did Obama. Gitmo is still open, offshore oil-drilling is still occurring, there still is no comprehensive plan for immigration (and now Arizona is stopping minorities and asking them to show their papers), warrantless wiretapping was signed into law as well as Patriot Act, and the rich is still getting richer!!! So, pardon me for not being as excited as you (and apparently as naive), but maybe you should stop watching Jimmy Fallon and start watching some of these bills that are being signed by our coveted president. Jus' sayin'.......

See...this is how you identify the idiots. #1, the war in Egypt and Libya ended last year (per'se, because we still have a military presence there). You may want to do your research. And the wars with Yemen, Afghanistan, and Syria are STILL going on; all of which Obama entered into unilaterally (without the approval of Congress) just like Bush did for the Iraqi. The fact the France and other countries are involved is besides the point. WE elected Obama; not France and other countries. WE are the ones taxed for it, not France and other countries. It is OUR economy that is suffering as a result. Not there's. #2, yes, considering that Arizona is largely a Republican state, it's a no brainer that they are spearheading the illegal practices. But what you fail to realize, Genuis, is that they are doing so with the federal law confines of legislation passed by the Obama Administration (just look up the Patriot Act II and Preventative Detention); both bills of which Bush had been trying to get passed anyway. #3, it is obvious that you dubious ass is forgetting that this is an ELECTION YEAR! Candidates ALWAYS make false promises during election years just as a means of securing your vote, and Obama is no exection. You can't bailout Wall St. and the expense of the 99%, pass a Stimulus Bill without financial transparency, and spend more money on more wars while the country is in a recession/depression, while giving corporation subsidies for off-shoring jobs, and then act like you're trying to tax the rich (Buffet Act) during an election year. That is simply called "frontin'." #4, if you naive ass thinks that the war in Iraq is over, then that is further proof that it is YOU who is watching FOX news. We still have over 20 military bases in Iraq alone as well as Afghanistan. We are STILL sending artillery over there. So, to keep it simple for you, everything that Bush and the Republicans have been wanting to do (i.e. keep the rich rich, take control of the oil in the Middle East, arrest people without due process, increase corporate power and control domestic and foreign, remove personal rights and freedoms, etc.) have all been accomplished by Obama in just 4 years. And finally, we don't need Romney for there only to be a RICH and a POOR.......that exists RIGHT NOW!!! Obama has done exactly what Bush would have done. Unemployment is at it's highest in 40 years (highest for minority communities). Banks and corporation have seen record profits AS A RESULT of the depression! Read a book for a change! If all of this is what you wanted the president to accomplish, then that's your business. But don't try to act like this is not was has happened and is still happening. I think that it is safe to say that most of us who voted for Obama was expected someone who would do the OPPOSITE of what the Village Idiot (Bush) did. But the facts suggests otherwise.
