Nas has released the video for his controversial "Daughters" single.  Watch it inside....

 

We told you earlier about Nas' controversial "Daughters" song that had baby mama Carmen Bryan all upset because he talks about their child, Destiny.  And now the video is out.

Directed by Chris Robinson and styled by June Ambrose, the video is about Nas' life but shown from Destiny's perspective (she also appears in the clip).

I don't like the verse that God will punish you by giving you a daughter. His mother is a women, what about respecting her as well. Too much negativity in rap music about women. It doesnt cease to amaze me how some adults can't have a healthy conversation without feeling the need to use "cuss words". If he wanted to make a video about his story of what he went through with his daughter (most singers and rappers do tell stories) then thats his business, follow advice given to you from early on. If you can't say anything nice dont say anything at all. Yes we are entitled to freedom of speech, but dont let your anger get the best of you. His daughter obviously approved of this video since she was in it.

You guys are taking this way too far. Nas made a song about his mistakes directly influencing his daughter's behavior. As a father he needed to address her twitter pics, had he not said anything, people would be like "oh Nas talk about being a man and taking care of his, while his daughter got a box of condoms right next to her bed." At least Nas acknowledge his kids, unlike other rappers who changing thier name to dodge child support payments. Nas is a lyrical beast. Oh yeah i wonder how Jay-Z son doin in the Islands, he should be in his teens right now.

I LOVE this song! You can't do anything but respect him for putting his shyt out there like that. He didn't talk about everything he did right, but everything he did wrong. He didn't blame the mother (although she definitely deserves 50% of it) or make excuses. He just spoke from heart. Nas is so dope. I hope I meet him one day (and seduce him).
