UNFREEZE 21 Days June 1st 2012 to June 21st 2012 To God Be the Glory for Great things He has done and what He will do. Many are the times when the storms hit and we forget the joyful tune that we once sung that often Glorifies the Lord. Many are the times when the light that we were told to shine so bright dims and sometimes even dies. But when the Spirit of God is IN you, it convicts you to be better and always do better and causes you to revive your soul. THIS IS A CALL TO PRAYER. He urges everyone around you to be in a desperate need of prayer. To God Be the Glory for this call! The following 21 days will revive, enrich, excite, empower and allow us to get back up and STAND! The Icebox that you once stood in and were bound will UNFREEZE! We are exchanging our weakness for His strength these 21 days, our sorrow for his indescribable joy, and our sins for freedom. By the end of 21days we will be like 10 mighty men of valor with extra muscle that is the Divine power of the Holy Spirit. 1) THANKS – Today we start of by giving thanks, and just Glorifying His name. Hannah, Her name is practically synonymous with thankfulness. Out of desperation, she asks the Lord for a son. Not only that, she basically says up front, “God, if you answer my prayer now, here’s how I’ll thank you later.” She commits her yet-to-be-born son to God’s service. “I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life,” she promises. In case you didn’t fully appreciate those words, that’s called extreme thanks. Of course, Hannah’s prayer (of thanks) is what we typically think of when we think of Hannah’s response to God’s gift. With language like, “I delight in your deliverance,” and “my heart rejoices in the Lord,” Hannah expresses pure praise. SCRIPTURES: 1 Samuel 1-2, 2 Samuel 6, Daniel 4, Luke 15 2) FORGIVENESS – We are asking God to forgive us of our wrongdoing. We cannot go to the throne room of Grace boldly and ask if we are not right with God. May God rid us of all guilt that the devil continues to inflict on us. The Holy Spirit quickens us, He prompts us, He gives us insight amongst a long list of other things we will learn about.. He made them "put off the old man with his deeds, and put on the new man, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him". Though the Holy Spirit is IN us we need to ask God to give us sensitivity to His spirit. SCRIPTURES: Col. 3:5-10, Romans 8:11 -16, Romans 8:26, Heb 3:7 -9, 1Co 6:14 -16 4) REVELATION KNOWLEDGE - When you walk with the Lord your thoughts become revelations. When you read the bible the words become live, new meanings occurs. Since receiving divine revelation is at the heart of biblical meditation it is imperative that we are always in conversation with God in our hearts (praying without ceasing. We are asking the Lord to grant us a teachable attitude: Revelation is given to those who maintain an attitude of humility, and it is withheld from the proud and the arrogant. So keep an open, humble attitude before God, allowing Him the freedom to shed greater light on any ideas you currently hold and to alter them as He sees fit (James. 4:6; II Pet. 1:19). We are praying that the eyes of our heart might be enlightened: Slow down as you read, mulling the text over and over in your heart and mind, praying constantly for God to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him .We present the abilities to reason and to imagine the Lord fill and flow through by HIS Spirit. WE are asking that HE shows us the solution to the problems we are facing. When you have a hunger to master a new understanding and discipline, that hungry and searching heart will cause you to see things you would not normally see. SCRIPTURES: (Matt. 5:6), Is. 59:1,2; I Jn. 1:9, (Eph. 1:17,18; Ps. 119:18 5) DIVINE WISDOM - Once God has granted you with His secret revelations that come only through hungering after him, and then as Solomon did you must ask for the wisdom to apply it. Having a gun and knowing when to pull the trigger makes the difference. Also knowing that a situation is not meant for you to understand is also wisdom. God’s ways are indeed unsearchable. Wisdom comes only from God. SCRIPTURES: Psalm 119:34, Psalm 51:6, Proverbs 2:6, James 1: 5, 1Corinthians 1: 19 6) REVIVING THE GIFT – This whole Fast is intended to revive us but today we are specifically asking us to give life to these dry bones. We often wait for our gift to die causing us to revive them over and over again. We have a duty to revise them as children of God. SCRIPTURES: 2 Timothy 1: 6-7, Psalm 85:6, Psalm 138:7, Isaiah 57:15 7) HOLDING STRONG TO THE GIFT - Romans 11:29 makes us understand that the giftings of the Lord are without repentance meaning they are irrevocable. However most often, we fail to tap into this same gift that is meant to catapult us into the next level of our walk with God. We need to ask God for awareness and the direction to be able to use our gift for His glory and not against Him like the devil did. SCRIPTURES: Rom 11:29, Ezekiel 28"11:19 8) REVIVING THE DREAM- Many are the desires of our hearts. Our expectations will never be cut short. Whatever dream God has put in ▼ Hide quoted text your heart, know that He who delights himself in the Lord, will always be given the desires of his heart. There is a reason God placed that dream in your heart. It is for the advancement of His kingdom, therefore rest assured that He will make a way for your dreams to be fulfilled. If you are at the point of giving up on your dream, this is the time to cry out to Him for a revival. SCRIPTURES: Proverbs 23:18 & Proverbs 24:14, Genesis 37:1-11 9) HOLDING STRONG TO THE DREAM- Your dream is your weapon; it is your key to unlock the future. Hold on to it. Sometimes holding on to it entails forgiveness; forgiving those who spoke defeating words into your life. Those who sold you off into the enemy’s camp. The amazing thing about a dream is that no one can take it from you. Keep dreaming. Wherever you may find yourself, your dream will make a way for you. SCRIPTURES: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, Psalm 37:3-5 10) STEADFASTNESS - Sometimes we are easily swayed by circumstances. Our confidence in the Lord wavers and dwindles. We seek others opinions before we turn to Him. But during this 10th day of fasting and prayer, we want to ask for the spirit of resiliency in Him. When we are shaken and all seems to fall apart, we do not want to run away from Him but instead towards Him. No matter what may come our way, we desire to stand strong and remain faithful to Him. We seek to be Immovable when it comes to His word and work. We do not desire to compromise with the world but stay true to our calling as children of God. SCRIPTURES: Ps. 78:37, 1Corinthians 15:58, Lam. 3:22-24 11) ENDURANCE - This our walk with the Lord is not going to be an easy one. Today we want to pray for strength and the ability to endure-good and bad. Being patient and persevering through times of trouble is an attribute we want to adopt as children of God. When faced with trials we need to pray and soak in the word and stay in fellowship with one another and most importantly, trust Him. SCRIPTURES: Rom15:4, 2Corin 1:6, Heb10:36, James1:2-4, Col 1:11, Gal 6:9, 1 Tim 6:11 12) STABILITY - Our God is the immovable foundation in this world of ours. The Hebrew word for rock indicates firmness, stability and faithfulness. Can you worship a God whose "truth" changed from time to time? Can such a God be trusted? Without true values, we will be tossed to and fro, not knowing where we stand. We desire priceless values that will keep us grounded in Him, values that are not easily shaken. We seek stability in every area of our lives: emotional stability, relational stability, whatever you need stability in, present it to our father. Stability is attractive and it gives you credibility. (Food for thought: who wants to be lectured on purity by an adulterer or on honesty by a liar and thief) SCRIPTURES: Isa 33:6, Deu 32:4, Jn 14:6 13) EDUCATION - Today we want to commit our education into the His mighty hands. Education is not only when we sit in class and are being taught. It is a progressive accumulation of knowledge in and out of the school system. We ask that He secure our educational plans. Wherever we need to be to stay in alignment with His will for our lives, He should go ahead and prepare the place for us. We ask for wisdom to apply the knowledge we acquire and the ability to impact the world around us through acquired knowledge. May we have an excellent spirit like Daniel did. SCRIPTURES: John 12:44-50, 16:12-15 16) LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS – In order for David to have a relationship with God he had to experience and realize the immense love God has for him. Because he experienced love from God he was able to have a relationship, which led to one of the most fascinating books in the bible- psalms. A book dedicated to his love for God. We often don’t reflect on God’s love for us, therefore we don’t know how to love ourselves in turn not knowing how to love our neighbors produce horrible relationships. Today we ask God to keep reminding us in our hearts every second of the day to love one another and to produce positive God-led relationships. SCRIPTURES: Ephesians 4:26, 2 Peter 1:5-6, Ephesians 4:29, Luke 6: 35, 1 John 4: 7, 1 John 4: 18-19 17) MARRIAGE – May God’s will be done. May He give us someone after His own heart. Have a conversation with God about this. Take it serious, as this is your future, Ask God for a spouse that will lie on the floor and pray with you as you are on your knees. That you may be able to endure whatever comes your way. This is your personal conversation with God, cry out to him. Timing is everything; this is the time where he will deliver more than ever. They are all fair-weather friends. They all can be helping you greatly one minute, and then the next minute everything has changes. God however is always faithful. That is why we should always trust Him as our supplier! Freedom of debt, any bondage, and living pay check to pay check. Never having enough money, not being able to give, no job, better job, promotion, pay increase. We are asking today, because in deed He said he will supply all our needs. SCRIPTURES: Proverbs 22:7, Philippians 4:19, Malachi 3:10 19) FAMILY- It is crucial that we pray for the vital and foundational unit of society. The family plays a central role in disseminating the tenets of our faith to future generations. Loving homes model virtues such as sacrifice, patience and unconditional love to a watching world, and committed marriages exemplify Christ's devotion to His church. Today, we pray for the family unit to be preserved as the Lord intended; we pray that broken homes will be restored; we pray that lost children will return home, absent mothers and fathers will take up their responsibility and be what God called them to be. We pray for unity as a family unit be it in our churches, communities, fellowship with our fellow brethren etc. SCRIPTURES: Josh 24:15, Eph 5:21, Mark 3:25, Prov 22:6 20) MIND ATTACK- The only way the devil could get you to freeze was because he was able to attack the mind like cancer! He was able to spread rapidly through the body because you gave him that chance. But as these 21 days come to an end we are firing the devil without notice! He can't even try. Today we shoot that devil that makes you sad, depressed, ugly, dirty, sinful, and all other feelings of bondage. There is no more condemnation. We are not slaves; we are renewed in mind, spirit and soul. Rejoice!!!!! Lord help us keep you at the center of our attention always! Don’t keep your mind off GOD! SRCIPTURES: Mark 16:17, 2 Corinthians 10: 5, Philippians 4:8-9 21) THANKSGIVING - All Glory be unto our King! Indeed He is Lord. Today all we can and should do is just give Him thanks. Thank Him for all answered prayer, thank Him for life and life overflowing, thank Him for it all. We are not asking for anything but just thanking Him for using us, for not rejecting us, for loving us. Today, let us EXPLODE WITH NOTHING BUT THANKSGIVING. He deserves it.
