NOW FILMING: Bobbi Kristina, Nick Gordon & Pat Houston SPOTTED Taping "Houston Family Chronicles"

Action! Filming for "The Houston Family Chronicles" is officially underway. And Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon were spotted filming in NYC over the weekend alongside her Aunt Pat Houston. Which could explain Bobbi's absence from her father's Hawaiian wedding yesterday....

News reports previously claimed that 19-year-old Bobbi Kris chose to stay in the Big Apple to shoot scenes for her upcoming Lifetime reality show "The Houston Family Chronicles."

Bobbi Kristina was joined by her late mother Whitney Houston's manager, her aunt Patricia Houston (not pictured), for a shopping trip on Fifth Avenue as they were followed by cameras. The duo stopped at BCBG Max Azria and Lord & Taylor, before the youngster met up with her boyfriend (who Whitney informally adopted when he was 12):

The couple was also spotted going for a walk in a park hand-in-hand, all with a TV crew in tow for their upcoming family show. Will we hear directly from Bobbi Kris via her show why she really chose not to attend her father's wedding? This ought to be interesting...

WH purposely made her image more urban so blacks would accept her. MJ spent his time taking his kids to museums, exposed them to classical music, taught them manners. mj did expose his kids to art, and museums, he would take his kids to the getty museum in l.a., he would take his kids to history museums. and his chef kai chase spoke about classical music being played at the house. and he prepared the children for the england trip by playing beatles, stones, had his chef chase prepare english food such as shepard pie. for paris birthday , he had circque soleil perform. and those are his kids. as far as whitney her own friend, said that whitney would always remind people she was from newark,nj. what i'm sayng is that mj was hurt by people thinking she was "white", she made an effort to show people she was black, whereas mj was hurt by it, but that didn't keep him from being himself. whitney was sophisticated, but she played that down to be accepted by blacks, especially after being booed at the 89 soul train awards.

After watching Oprah's

After watching Oprah's interview w/ Paris Jackson it showed me that Micheal really was a good father and really tried to instill good values in his kids. Paris is so smart and articulate. I really saw how much Paris and her siblings being around help lifts their grandmother's spirit and how they bring so much joy to her. Mrs. K Jackson stated that she does get very sad at times but takes one look at her grandkids and say their very presence is proof of how his legacy lives on. This is what is sad about Bobbi K it's like she could not wait to leave her grandmother after her mom died and get back to that brother/boyfriend of hers. It's so sad because Bobbi K seems like she has way less since than 14yr Paris J. It's like she was raised by wolves or something. I guess Whitney's drug addiction left this girl being raised VERY WRONG. I just wish Bobbi K could at least do her mama proud and not be an embarassment to her mom's legacy! I wish this girl had a better foundation than what she had. There are so many things I wished for her and her mom. I just hope Bobbi K will turn out better than most of us think she will. I truly wish her well.

What rock have you been under. Bobby Kristina have been in the public's eye from the day she was born. She was very present in the hot mess of a reality show with her mother and father. And as a young adult, she was always on stage or sitting next to the stage while her mother performed, so the next step is to continue down that road. It's clear the media won't leave her alone. Many of you are the ones wanting to now act as if your Bobby Kristina's mother and want to tell her what to do. Also, I don't blame her for not wanting to go to her father's wedding...Why should she if the relationship between the two isn't good.
