Why do ppl always have many negative opinions & stereotypes of black women... We must be the most hated & mistreated group for no reason. I guess our strength & backbone is intimidating. We're called ugly, overweight, gold diggers, uneducated & baby making machines.... But those are the things about us only a fool would believe. There are ppl or more specifically women like that in all races & cultures and there are certainly far more black women who are unlike those negative stereotypes. Black women traditionally have always been nurturing, capable & hard working matriarchs but despite that we are still represented poorly. The funny thing is its our own ppl who destroy our reputation the most. White ppl obviously know better about our worth bc we have been raising their families for years. All over Manhattan you see black nannies with lil white babies who adore them. The nanny spends more time with the kids than the parents, my mom has been a nanny to white families for years and she ran both households. My dad always complimented her for that. Furthermore, just because there are black women who do fit the stereotypical profile doesn't mean that's all we are or that its exclusive to us. That MTV show 16 & preggers mainly show white teens out of middle America. You look at the teen pregnancy rates and the number of uneducated white ppl out of those regions & its far higher than the black commty. Bad Girls Club alone is proof that there is an alarming number of trailer trash among white women not JUST black women. And its always baffled me that its ok for white women to marry black men with money but a black woman wants a man that is wealthy and she's a gold digger. Let's be real there are more black women loving low- to- no income men than there are black women dating or marrying wealthy men. On the contrary AIN'T NO white woman marrying a broke black man. And what's wrong with a black woman wanting to marry someone wealthy? We been doing this since biblical times, just like black men excuse cheating bc its in our "African roots" to have multiple wives, well its in our African roots to require a dowry in exchange for marriage. If there are wealthy black men still interested in marrying black women where is that wrong? She can't force him to do it so obviously that's who he wants to be with & share his fortune. Daggone shame how black women get tore down...
