Former NFL player Terrell Owens could face jail time for missing an important court date and being late on child support. Still. Deets inside......

NFL superstar Terrell “T.O.” Owens missed his child support hearing at the Fulton County Courtroom on Thursday in Atlanta and now Judge John Goger is pissed. By the way, Melanie Smith, the mother of his 7-year-old daughter, says he's $20,000 behind on child support.....so she's pissed too.

"It's a tragedy, not only that we are here today; this is the third case she has had to file in the last year," said Melanie's attorney Randy Kessler.

T.O.'s case was reset for July 19 and he could face jail time if he misses that one.

"We are hoping next week the case will come to a resolution and Mr. Owens will pay and pay every month," said Randy.

When you decide to have umpteen kids, you gotta be OK with paying umpteen stacks of cash for them too.

This is sad...really sad...no

This is sad...really sad...no plan B for after football? Every athlete should be prepared for the day they can no longer play, doesn't he have a degree of some sort he can put to use or a plan to at least obtain a degree?... Good golly Molly, and these mothers deserve child support for their children but I surely hope they are working and taking care of their households too!

The man is broke. He doesn't have a job. He is washed up. If he doesn't have it, why doesn't the judge lower it? It would be different if he had a job, but the man is broke. Lower his payments and his baby mother's ought to get a job... it's child support not Christian Loubouton and Hermes support...

I kinda feel bad for the

I kinda feel bad for the Ninja Turtle. Yes, he had one of the worst attitudes in the league, but he also had even worst people managing his money. He hired people that stole from him and didn't give him advice on how to save money especially after his career was over. Now he sittin in the back of that barbershop he opened in Miami learning how to line and shape dudes up. I don't understand why he doesn't go to court and get his child support lowered because he is no longer in the tax bracket he was in when he was playing football. You can't squeeze him and and have a million dollars pop out his ass so his baby mamas are going to need to get off their ass get a job to care for their children, instead of living off of child support smh.

Ive always had a soft spot

Ive always had a soft spot for men who wore their emotions on their sleeve. In this particular case, I don't feel sorry for T.O. He's been blessed with the opportunity to make millions doing what he loves to do, which is play football. He made bad decisions by poorly investing his money; reckless sexual contacts that resulted in several children and now you have no money to care for them. I hope he finds a legal way to get out of his financial woes.
