Mr. Carter is Duracell Powermat's newest investment partner.  And he's not only putting up his money, but making actual cameos in their ads.  The first one just hit the net and it's a cute take on just how much battery power people use for their cell phones.  But while on a night out, a certain fella picks up the wrong phone that has an incoming call from "B."  Some type of way his phone got mixed up with Jay-Z's.  Before he goes to answer, Mr. Carter shows up to snatch it.  That call is clearly not for the club goer.  Love how The Carters are showcasing their relationship in non-conventional ways.  Check it below:

Meanwhile, the chick who said she's coming for Jay-Z's throne scooted into Miami last night for her Pink Friday Reloaded tour:

Nicki Minaj donned her colorful best as she performed for the crowd--and brought out her Young Money crew as well.

Lil Wayne, Birdman and more hit the stage during her set--while Weezy helped her perform a few tracks off her album.  And also rocked "Take It To The Head" with Nicki and a few other tracks he has verses on.

Swizz Beatz has posted more pics from the Cannes set of his upcoming video we now know will be "Everyday Birthday."  He's got Chris Brown and Ludacris on deck, as we previously reported, and it looks like the fellas are having tons of rich people fun:

By the way, some reports say that there's a possibility that Rihanna, who is also in Cannes right now, will be asked to make a cameo in the video.  She knows a little something about birthdays....
