JACKSON FAMILY SAGA: Katherine Jackson Speaks Out From Arizona With Janet, Jermaine & Rebbie By Her Side

In another interesting turn of events, Katherine Jackson appeared on ABC's Nightline last night to give her side of the saga that's been playing out for over a week. Mrs. Jackson was still in Arizona, at the luxe Miraval Resort in Tucson, and appeared on tv to read a statement. Oddly, the resort's marketing manager was by her side, as well as kids Janet, Jermaine & Rebbie and Rebbie's daughter Stacey..

The 82-year-old matriarch of the Jackson Family decided enough was enough. And after losing temporary custody of Michael's 3 kids Paris, Blanket & Prince, she wanted to give some insight on the confusing turn of events.

Katherine spoke on national tv saying she's "devastated" by the "misunderstandings" of her whereabouts and accusations that her children have held her against her will. Janet and Jermaine whispered to each other a few times during Katherine's speech that she read off of paper. Mrs. Jackson said:

"There are rumors going around about me that I have been kidnapped and held against my will. I am here today to let everybody to know that I am fine. My children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will. It's very stupid for people to think that."

Interestingly, she avoided the question of why the kids weren't told that she was leaving for Arizona for "rest". But she did say she stayed out of contact because she simply gave up her phone. She said she put her grandson TJ in charge before she left and her assistant checked in with him several times.

ON THE 'KIDNAPPING'

There are rumors going around about me that I have been kidnapped and held against my will.

I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will. It's very stupid for people to think that.

ON THE LOSS OF CUSTODY OF HER GRANDCHILDREN
I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that, also.

ON WHO WAS LOOKING AFTER HER GRANDCHILDREN

Before I left I put everything in order with the appropriate people to take care of my children for me and it's really bad to hear that what's going on at home, and the children have been taken away - but I know that... I'll get there in time to get them back.

And after I finish this, I will be on my way home.

ON WHERE SHE WENT
I am grateful for my children that they saw that I needed rest and they wanted to take me away for a while, just a short vacation and rest up.

They have taken good care of me and have made sure that I got the rest that I needed.

ON WHY DIDN'T SHE CALL?
One reason I haven't called is I just gave up my phone and I didn't want to have any phone calls while I was here.

Katherine also said someone, and she doesn't know who, let go of the cook and some other house staff. And they didn't have authority to do so. So she fired nephew Trent & the house security team.

Katherine also said she is upset about her children now being in custody of someone else and she is working to rectify it.

Paris recently tweeted her father's lyrics from "Will You Be There?" And it's very telling:

She tweeted today, "Grandma's here. Thank you God."

Prince has also broken his silence and tweeted this statement:

I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side.

As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt.

The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth.”

The real question is--why is Janet and/or members of the family so intent on keeping Katherine away from the kids? They are all 15 and under. Don't they need parental guidance? What happened that made Janet not want the kids to speak to their grandmother?

I wish you guys would stop

I wish you guys would stop talking about the children, they are teenagers and as a parent you would normally tell your children that you will be away for a while and I have left instructions for whoever to take care of you. If she needs rest I am sure they would understand that. Whether you like or not they are Jacksons. Again we only have what is being posted in the media. I think this is a lesson for the children about going public b/c people can say some hurtful things and I can only imagine how they are missing their father right about now. But like everyone else I have an opinion, I do think there is some shady stuff going on. They(siblings) have tried once before to get the Will contested and it did not work, somebody is up to something.

There is a HUGE portion of

There is a HUGE portion of this story missing. For starters, Prince's tweet just reads a little too adult like. I don't feel that tweet was sent by a teenage boy. Secondly, the text messages. There seems to be portions missing. If he sent a group text out and none of the recipients knew they were texting as a group, why would Janet reply, don't let them please? Wouldn't she have replied something a little more direct? Something about the texts just seem off. And if he (Prince) started the chat then who the heck did they (Rebbie, Austin, & Janet) think they were responding to????? I really think Katherine Jackson may have been on the verge of a stroke and was taken away to rest. She is well aware of her age and I'm pretty sure that weighs heavily on her. When I went on vacation

When I went on vacation without my children I told them I was going away for a bit and that their granny would be looking after them, plus their dad was there doing the school pick ups as well. Plus I phoned everyday just to hear their voice and make sure they were okay. That's what a parent does. You do not just up and leave without any word. Even just a simple call or note to say that she was okay and that she is taking a break would have sufficed. Just up and leaving with no word is in no way acceptable.

This is a parents worst fear

This is a parents worst fear to leave a child and or children before they're old enough to fend for themselves. The only thing I don't agree with is, IF she left without telling them (sounds very suspect...but ok) that was wrong for obvious reasons. However, who do you think the kids were left with when MJ was away? Nannies and other staff. Not for one second do I believe they were abandoned. Of course I have my theories about Ms. Katherine's kids and why they (Janet, Rebbie) are so adamant about getting her away for a while. And it has nothing to do with them being sweet little angels. Every parent or guardian needs a break every now and then. When you have raised all yours and 82 yrs. old, it should be done reguarly. Those kids have been coddled and handled like fine china (not being insensitive, rightfully so to some degree since MJ's passing) and doing so has made them feel untouchable. There are things about my mother's business affairs that that only I know. My siblings either dont know and/or dont care. So to an extent, I understand not telling the others becuase their lack of involvement or method to handle business will only piss you off. And when it comes to mom, yall know none of yall play. It's all adding up why Janet Jackson wanted the phone from paris and prince. Why Jermaine was in a headlock, and why Trent was fired. Obviously Tito has good intentions beyond money. Obviously Marlon & Latoya would both be at the compound if there was an issue with the kids. You think I would remove my mother from the house if the kids are to blame? If the kids are unruly wouldn't everyone fly in for a family intervention like a normal family? Why would I remove the guardian ,and send her to Arizona? Why would I fly to the kids but not take them with me to their grandmother? Yet, all of the family made their way to Rebbie without Katherine one day boarding a plane and heading home. The people who are blaming the kids are obviously A. unfit parents or B. do not have kids. Every parent is stressed. Do I take a vacation away from my kids due to my health? No! My priority lies in the well being of my kids. Katherine, when she petitioned the court to become a guardian, should have known raising kids would not be easy. There isn't a kid out there poor, middle class, or wealthy, who doesn't give their parents hell. It's called laying down rules and getting through the day. if she needs a vacation for her health, she is unfit to raise these kids. Tries to recover but the kids/execuors continue with the harrasment and stressing her out. 6) Katherine talks to Janet (who is protective of her Mother) about what has happened. Janet says hell no they are not going to kill my Mother with their bs, and Janet tells Rebbie the other siblings what is going on and rescues her Mother so she won't have a massive stroke. Kids say ok (they could care less) and continue to get what they want. 7) The executors immediate start with their plan for the control - they inform the kids their Grandma is being manipulated by those no good Aunts and Uncles - Your Grandma don't care, she has abandoned you - but we (executors) will make sure you are protected. THE PROCESS TO DESCREDIT Grandma begins: 8) Paris starts her twitter rant where is my Grandma - I don't know whats going on I can't talk to her etc. 9) Katherine has abandoned the kids (LIES) 10)Katherine has been kidnapped brainwashed by her children to get the money and control of the Grandkids (LIES) 11) Katherine's actions show not stable, being manipulated, and therefore we must question her capability Guardian. (Think now it has just been a few days and the kids know exactly where their Grandmother is) 12) Mysteriously Tito removes himself from the letter the family wrote questioning the executors agenda), and now Tito's son TJ is telling the kids I'm there for you, I'll protect you. 13) Paris then expresses that she wants TJ to be her new guardian (Note: executors have offered Tito money and his son TJ the Guardianship and payment of the 70,000 a month if he wants to be those kids Guardian. 14) TJ obtains the lawyer provided by the executors (they all help each other - Jews make sure that money stays within their circle). 15) Emergency hearing takes place - Judge who is part of the group decides in minutes based on heresay (lies) without any questions or evidence that the kids were abandoned and gives immediate award of guardianship to TJ and with a stroke of a pen issued the $70,000 to the new guardian TJ. Whew - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Now Katherine wil probably never get guardianship of those grandkids again, when she does try, they will make her jump through hoops to prove that she is competent to care for them - That judge/lawyers/executors will humiliate her, be nasty, and disrespectful to her, make her have a physical, psyche evaluation, show how she spent the funds given to her for those kids etc., and the truth is she will never get Guardianship again because they have and will continue to discredit her. I know this is long people but bear in mind that the GREEDY executors and lawyers have a 1 billion dollar estate, and now that all the debts of Michael Jackson have been paid, the executors and lawyers and their families will lives wealthy off the MJ estate for the rest of their lives. Those executors don't give a damn about those kids, they will give those kids their little chump change share (remember MJ was worth only 50 million when he died), and pay themselves 1million +/year for managing the estate, and all the lawyers will bill the estate huge sums for their services, and it is all kept in the Jewish inner circle, and in the meantime TJ/Tito get the little chump change until the kids are 18. TJ and Tito sold out and betrayed Katherine in the worst way, they let those Jews use them to hurt their own Grandmother for a little bit of chump change. Pathetic. The kids will get their wake up call when they start receiving their money, lets see how much those executors care about them and their wellbeing when they have questions about their daddy's estate. What is sad is that on the other (their) sites they a villifying Katherine, Janet and siding with those disrespectful kids. Peace

You obviously don't know how a trust works. MJ's children receive a monthly allowance until they reach age 30, at which point each is entitled to a third of his or her share. The remaining portions of the trust fund will be given to them at ages 35 and 40. He made sure they will not go crazy and blow through the money all at once. He learned from watching his brothers.

Janet has lost some serious cool points. First, don't use modern technology if you don't know how it works. SMH. Secondly, I'm starting to think she's strapped for cash as well AND that none of them are particularly SMART. Taking their Mother from her guardianship and not letting the minors see her and then being shocked when guardianship is taken away is just DUMB. With all the $ no one has any damn common sense apparently! Also, none of these people had a relationship with those kids when MJ was alive because he wasn't fking with them. I remember Janet saying she was staying in the same hotel as MJ in Paris and didn't know it until housekeeping told her. And now she wants to run shiat?! Umm, no.

JANET AND EVERYBODY NEEDS TO STEP IN! First of all these are yte children! They are far more disrespectful to elders or any adults than any other group period. The fact that Katherine needed rest from teenagers who can basically take care of themselves with supervision of course, speaks volumes. I'm going through a similar situation. My sister and her husband are well off. They relocated to another state and left my teenage nephew since he was a senior in high school, for my elderly parents to care for. Since they've left my nephew who had never been arrested has been arrested 4 times and now has 5 tattoos. My point is, Katherine is too old to be foolin w/these kids. Since my nephew has been with my parents they've BOTH fallin ill from stress. My nephew though that he would stay here and go to college so he could keep cuttin up w/his friends, but I shipped him straight to his parents and he's transferring to a college in their state. He will NOT kill my parents. Look below the surface, these kids are probably running Katherine ragged...

Your gaurdian leaves for 9 days and you can't even speak to them? Even Marlon and Jackie weren't able to speak to their mother didn't even know where the other siblings had her. That SPEAK VOLUMES . Know the facts. Even HER OWN children were looking for her , Well the ones who weren't scheming !!! Your comparing your life to the life of children who's father has almost a billion $ estate that everyone seems to want, gaurdian missing for days, and a deceased father who can no longer hide/protect his kids.
