Sparkle actress Jordin Sparks was spotted in Brooklyn recently where she's filming her next movie--The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.  Get the deets on the movie inside......

 

 

No taking breaks here!  Jordin Sparks (shown above on the set with co-star Julito McCullum) was spotted in Brooklyn shooting her next movie.  She's playing the role of "Alice" in the George Tillman Jr.-directed flick The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.

The film (produced by Alicia Keys) tells the story of two inner-city kids who are forced to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by authorities.

Jennifer Hudson, Jeffrey Wright and Anthony Mackie are also amongst the lineup of high-profile talent in the flick.

No premiere date has been set for the flick.

As soon as I saw the word

As soon as I saw the word "Mister" I automatically thought of "The Color Purple", then I saw Jennifer Hudson name and that basically confirmed my original thought. Why does Namond from "The Wire" look like Lil Cease, back in the Junior Mafia days????? Smh.
