FULL VIDEO: Rihanna On "Oprah's Next Chapter"

Rihanna's much anticipated sit down with Oprah aired Sunday night on OWN. In case you missed it, check out the full interview inside...

The pop star looked more comfortable than ever as she had Oprah chillin' on her home island of Barbados. The twosome talked about everything from career, to what growing up in Barbados was like, to that fateful night in 2009.

The almost 12 minute portion about Chris Brown and how she feels about him 3 years later is below:

Rihanna called that period in her life "embarrassing" and humiliating." But is also constantly reminded of him:

"I am reminded by a lot of things. A lot of good memories we had. By the slightest things: hotel rooms, tour venues. Any little thing: music, songs. And I do miss him at times."

About forgiving the love of her life:

"I have forgiven him. I was angry for a long time."

"I think he was the love of my life. He was my first love."

"I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched ... switched in a night and I couldn't control that. So I had to deal with that, and that's not easy for me to understand or interpret. It's not easy to interpret on camera. Not with the world watching."

Next up for Rih is the MTV VMA's airing live September 6th. And Rihanna just wrapped a few huge performances in Tokyo and Osaka for this weekend's Summer Sonic festival. Here's a few pics from that:

I have never been a fan of

I have never been a fan of Rhiannas music and I will never be, however I love her personality, she is so real and intelligent! I truly see a beautiful young woman who has a big heart. She is a classy young woman outside of the entertainment arena. She has depth to her not just a shallow individual. I have a new found respect for her as a person. Beautiful Beautiful young lady on so many levels.

Thank you YBF for posting! This was an awesome interview and it confirmed my impressions of Rihanna. She always comes across as genuine and that has definitely helped keep her in the top spot. It's also funny to see how much she's grown on me over the years. It wasn't until her 4th album that I really became a fan; but hey, better late than never. Loved it, Oprah! (I almost cried).

I loved what Rihanna said

I loved what Rihanna said when she stated that she is afraid of the pedestal. Unlike so many artist who put themselves on a pedestal and make themselves seem like they are so above everyone. I love her humbleness and down to earth qualities. I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished coming from that tiny little island. This girl has made it in a very Big way! Now I hope she takes the advise that her late grandmother gave and find a man that loves her more than she loves him. I clearly see now she loved Chris a whole lot more than he loved her and I wish she will just move on because he seems to have moved on w/ KT. I do think she revealed a little to much Info about still loving Chris. I was a little sad to see her still having lumps in her stomach and chest when he comes around. Her love for him is so one-sided. Hopefully in time she will find someone who will make her forget him. Buying that house for her mom shows how sweet and giving she is. Good Interview Oprah I just wish it were longer!

I can't even believe i'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed the interview (holding head down in shame). It actually seemed genuine. I know she'll do something to make me roast her ass again, but it is what it is. Anywho... I got a feeling her and Chris are gonna get back together, especially after that interview. When she confessed her love for him and said that her stomach drops everytime she's in his presence, I was like Kerosine knows that her and Chris's relationship days are numbered. She's probably somewhere in a dark corner crying her eyes out to "I Can't Make You Love Me". She might as well pack her bags and bow out gracefully.

That's her first love...I mean, her feelings any one can relate to if you have ever been in love. Young love is so wild and crazy as well...two rich young beautiful ppl with the world at their fingertips...explosive! At the root, emotional distress and issues that had been stuffed into the closet. I am glad they confronted them separately and have put the hate behind them. That $hit will eat you alive.

You're so right. You can't turn those feelings off so easily. It takes a while. I remember being so in love with my -Ex. I wouldn't take him back, but I sure loved him for a long time. It took years to get over because we had so much in common and we coupled so well. I let it go, but those feelings took a long a** time. So I feel you Rihanna. this really was an

this really was an interesting video....i love how rihanna stays true to her herself. what you see is what you get....she was very candid and honest. it wasn't really a surprise to hear her say she still loves chris and he still loves her but all i can think about is what his current girlfriend must feel like knowing her man is still in love with one of the most beautiful women in the world!!
