Singer Keyshia Cole is prepping for a shoe launch with Steve Madden. See a pair of the looks inside and find out why Keyshia's doing the line.....

As she preps for the launch of her Woman to Woman disc, Keyshia Cole will also be launching a shoe collection with Steve Madden next month. She talked to Power 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club about the shoes,

“I’ve been talking about this Steven Madden deal for about four years now. I wanted to do a deal with Steven Madden because, when I didn’t have any money and before I got my deal, I use to buy Steve Madden shoes. So I just want to make sure that I do really cute shoes that my demographic can afford. [The shoes will debut in] November. I’ve already made all three and they will be featured in my videos and in the album packaging.”

Keyshia wore a pair of multi-colored shoes with pink soles (from the collection) earlier this week on "106 & Park" and also tweeted a pair of red platforms with a heart. In addition to shoes, fans can find out more about Keyshia and her life on Tuesdays when BET airs “Keyshia & Daniel: Family First” at 10ET.

These celebs and groupies need to stop thinking they can design clothes because 99% of them can not. Those glued-on coloring book looking shoes are not cute and look ghetto as all hell. The red ones are ehhh. I need to see them with her standing up in an outfit.

No shade, but I'm not a fan. The shoes look too busy and I think you need more motivation to design a shoe collection than, "when I was poor I used to rock these shoes." Are you known for you shoe game? Have you studied women's shoes? Do you know the market and trends? The competition? Which materials work best and hold up the longest? Yeah, probably not. This is exactly why so many celebrity fashion lines fail. You can't just slap your name on something and expect the public to be dumb enough to buy it!

the heels on both are too high but yes, I would. depending on what the other designs look like, I probably will. in my experience, steve maddens are usually cute, comfortable and affordable. doesnt hurt that i'd be supporting someone who started out humbly like myself and most ppl I know.

It's not even about Christian

It's not even about Christian Louboutins or Alexander McQueen's. The shoe is very unattractive and just plain ILL. I mean, it's good that she's trying to branch into different things, but the damn shoe is ugly. Velcro? Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just mabye there are people that just don't like the shoe? Doesn't matter where the shoe comes from or who made it. There are some Alexander McQueens and Louboutin's that aren't attractive either. The shoe is ugly POINT BLANK PERIOD!
