FIRST LOOK ON SET: Terrence J JOINS The Cast Of "Baggage Claim" + Zoe Saldana DRESSED As "Nina Simone"

E! News anchor Terrence J has joined the cast of the film Baggage Claim. See him on the set with castmates inside and pics of Zoe Saldana as Nina Simone.....

Actor and tv personality Terrence J has signed on to star in David E. Talbert's Baggage Claim with Paula Patton, Derek Luke, and Lauren London. He tweeted,

"I just signed on for a new movie...." and "Super excited to join Paula Patton and the rest of the amazing cast of Baggage Claim!!! #Godisgood"

Terrence J joins a long list of Black Hollywood talent in the film which also includes Jill Scott and Djimon Hounsou. Terrence will play the fiance of Paula Patton's sister.

In other movie news.....

Actress Zoe Saldana was spotted on the set of Nina in LA yesterday.

Zoe's skin has been darkened/bronzed to give her a richer skin tone for the flick which will focus on Nina's rise to fame and relationship with her manager Clifton Henderson.

Because Zoe doesn't resemble Nina in the least bit, her acting chops will really have to surpass the negative press she's received for her casting.

Well is definitely black and has a more African phenotype than Kerry Washington. I have noticed that she is three shades lighter than she was in DrumLine and she straightens her hair. One thing for sure, she could never play Lena Horne in a movie.

Zoe is black she is not light skinned. Zoe Kravitz is light skin and has a thinner nose than Zoe Saldana.

Disappointing on so many

Disappointing on so many levels. Nina exuded blackness, embraced it and encouraged others to do the same. Someone needs to do a movie about her life that will do justice to her legacy.

I will not be seeing this

I will not be seeing this Nina Simone movie. This is a slap in the face to Nina Simone and her legacy especially since she covered a lot of race issues in her music and was very pro black. I suggest others boycott this film as well. Hollywood needs to learn or else they will continue to churn this trash out.

Zoe's a good actress, and

Zoe's a good actress, and probably a wonderful person...but she should've turned this role down... for the very obvious reason; she's not an African American woman. This is like La La playing Diana Ross cause of her eyes... I do wish Zoe well though as I imagine she's heard the feed back....

This reminds me of what

This reminds me of what happended to Lena Horne having a role that should have gone to her given to Rita Hayworth. They darkened her skin to make her look like a native. There are so many more black actresses that would do justice to that part and look the part as well. Let us not forget Zoe made it a point to say she's NOT black. I guess she'll take money meant for a black woman though.
