Jennifer Hudson jetted to the Bahamas this weekend for a big gala in honor of American-Bahamian Sidney Poitier. Decide if we love her lace white mini dress she rocked for the occasion inside...

In a long sleeved white lace mock turtleneck Dolce & Gabanna mini dress ($2,279) and black Charlotte Olympia golden platform boots ($995), Jennifer Hudson hit the red carpet and stage at the Atlantis for a gala honoring Mr. Poitier on Saturday night.

At the gala, also attended by Oprah Winfrey and others, she hit the stage to perform "Spotlight" & a Whitney Houston medley after posing for pics on the carpet:

I use to put Brandy on J-Hud

I use to put Brandy on J-Hud level of looks, but no more. Brandy has come a long way w/ her fashion hair and make-up and Brandy does not have that old Lady swag going on like J-Hud does. J-Hud makes Brandy look like a SUPER MODEL! J-hud is one UNATTRACTIVE WOMAN and she NEVER looks good in anything she wears, her hair, clothes,body and overall look is just WRONG! In her case looks DEFINITELY are not everything personality as boring as she is, has helped w/ her appeal to her type of fans!

Man, I swear I'm not hating but J-Hud just doesn't have any sex appeal, regardless of what she wears. There's just something so soulful about her that she's never sexy appearance wise. The only time she actually had some sex appeal was on the weight watchers commercials and I think that was the absolute max they could get out of her. She really does need better people. However on this pic, she failed this dress with the booties, the hair and the lipstick. She saving money in the wrong dept. Get you a good stylist!
