"ANTM" judge Rob Evans has been released from jail, after turning himself in, following a warrant being issued regarding an assault. Get the deets inside....

"ANTM" judge Rob Evans, whom we told you was "wanted" for felony assault, recently turned himself in to the Beverly Hills Police Dept. after learning about his warrant.

Rob is accused of assaulting a man outside of Next Modeling agency offices in Beverly Hills on March 14.

Though the man ended up in the hospital, Rob maintains that the fight was self-defense and the "victim" reared up as if he might try to land a hit.

Rob reported to the police department on Wednesday and was released 25 minutes later after posting $60,000 bail. No court date has been set yet.

As for whether his rumored boo Tyra Banks helped to bail him out--who knows. But Tyra recently revealed they are NOT dating and he's like her "little brother." Mmmhmm.

Actually, that is untrue. Most male models are straight and the gay male models aren't favorable as the designers who book them for campaigns wish to sell the clothes to the male population. Which is dumb and hypocritical since most of the designers themselves are gay, but it is another unjust practice in that industry. If you haven't noticed, many of the male models transition into acting and other forms of entertainment (look at Ashton Kutcher who started out as a model), which likewise aren't as receptive to gay men. Only recently have there been actors who are out, such as Matt Bomer. With the exception of a few androgynous types such as Andrej Pejic, most male models have tended to look more 'masculine' within the recent years.

Well I'm not sure which models you are speaking with, but those who are actually signed to the leading agencies such as Wilhelmina, Ford, DNA, Next, Sight Management, etc, and are booking the high profile campaigns/editorials are usually straight. However, as I'm sure you know, the people who work directly with the talent such as the stylists, make up artists, designers, etc, tend to be gay. But the whole 'male models are gay' all across the board, that is a large misconception.
