Actor Dulé Hill is prepping for the single life. He just filed for separation from his wife of eight years, Nicole Lyn. Deets inside...

Former "West Wing" actor (Nicole also had a recurring role as an intern on there) and Psych star Karim Dulé Hill is splitting from his wife. He filed the papers under his full government name in L.A. Superior Court earlier this month.

His soon-to-be-ex wife is a DJ & actress. She also nabbed a role on Psych a few years ago...likely because her hubby was the star.

Dulé cited irreconcilable differences. He recently starred in Alicia Keys' Broadway play StickFly. He may be losing a wife, but his show, Psych, gets a seventh season February 2013.

I saw Dulé perform in

I saw Dulé perform in Stickfly on Broadway earlier this year. He was great in it and seemed like such a nice guy as he posed for pictures after the play. I'm sorry he and his wife are kaput. Guess that 7 year itch thing is real. Side note: He's certainly come a long way from playing Preston in the movie "She's All That".
