Beyonce, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx and other entertainment A-listers have recorded a public service announcement for Demand a Plan, in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary mass shooting. Watch the PSA inside and find out how you can help.....

In the wake of the tragic mass shooting that took the lives of so many angels at Sandy Hook Elementary last week, some of Hollywood's brightest stars are shining a light on the need for revamped gun control.

Teaming up with Demand A Plan, A-listers like Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Ellen DeGeneres are asking fans to demand action from lawmakers, including better gun regulation, to prevent tragedies like the Newtown, Connecticut shooting from happening again.

Also, the PSA stands in stark contrast to proposals from the NRA to send armed guards into schools and suggests that "More Guns" ARE NOT the answer.

When a mass tragedy happens like this you don't compare that with other tragedy's, you have compassion, and empathy. That tragedy was not about race, sex, or religion because actually there were kids of all races that were murdered in cold blood. Thank God people are taking a harder look at gun control in terms of making it harder to purchase guns to further prevent both the tragedy in CT, and tragedy's accross the nation.

Letsgetit, THIS! Aiyana Jones' story was one of the saddest stories I've ever heard, and I have YET to hear anymore about it. It was swept under the carpet just like other countless murders, rapes, or kidnappings of countless black children. THEY DON'T CARE. That poor baby didn't have a chance, yet the only thing I recall is them being blamed for her death. It pisses me OFF!!! These black celebs are puppets to the industry. They don't give a rat's ass about those children in the Congo that are raped and slaughtered or children everywhere else who are shot and killed on a daily basis, but because 20 children in mass where shot, America suddenly found compassion. Yet, there was no cry for gun control from Obama or any other "concerned" citizen. True Thinker, what do you suggest we do? No one wants crime in their neighborhoods, and if something could be done to eradicate it, trust and believe, a solution would've already been in place. It appears as if you are blaming victims in our communities for the actions of criminals. If my assumption is wrong, please forgive me. You see, if what happened in Newtown happened in any hood USA, the conversation would more than likely be about black on black crime instead of the poor, innocent children who died. We (black people) cannot singlehandedly do something about crime. If we could, we would've done it long ago. We don't own guns or manufacture them. You said, "We are looking to the wrong people for help." Where would you suggest we get help from? In closing, people better wake up a smell the coffee. As we can see from what happened in the movie theater in Colorado, the mall in Oregon, and the murders in Newtown that crime has no respect. It's reaching far and wide, and that's why this PSA was made because it's reaching wide (read: white folks).

We can start off by raising our kids to understand that their reality is more than just the bullsh#t they see on tv. More importantly if they live in these types of communities that warrant a dead end future, that it doesn't have to be their future. THAT needs to be ingrained. NOT just told. 2# You don't need to struggle in a drug ridden, crime filled community. Go struggle somewhere else. No we can't do everything, but could you IMAGINE the type of progress we would make if we took the reigns of our own damn lives..what we could accomplish??? Don't you see?
