Some of rap's legendary femcees like Lady of Rage, MC Smooth and Monie Love joined MC Lyte in LA for a panel discussion on female rappers in the music industry.  And even Lil Mama, who finally has a look we can get with, made her way on the panel.  See pics inside....

Yesterday, rap icon MC Lyte hosted the Female Legends of Hip Hop Interactive Panel Discussion at The LA Film School in Hollywood, CA.  The panel was a part of MC Lyte's "Hip Hop Sisters Legend Series:  Who Are They, Where Are They, What Happened & Why?" taking place this weekend.

In addition to veterans MCs like MC Smooth, Lady of Rage and Monie Love, the "Paper Thin" rapper included newbie Lil' Mama in the event too.

The weekend includes a series of events like the search for the "Next Top Female MC" and a "Legends" concert starring all of the ladies from the panel as well as Yo-Yo.  And we must say, the ladies are still looking fabulous and cold rocking the mic. 

Love that these ladies are still keeping things on the up and up over a decade later.
