SCHOOLIN' LIFE: Beyonce's HBO "Life Is But A Dream" Documentary (FULL VIDEO)

Beyonce Knowles just exposed her life for the world to see in her HBO documentary "Life Is But A Dream." It aired tonight, and in case you missed it--and all the first time revelations--check it inside... *FULL VIDEO INSIDE*

You've seen all the previews. Now check out the HBO documentary, "Life Is But A Dream" (for now, only a portion is online). What we get to see for the first time: Beyonce revealing first hand that singing is her first passion, A baby belly, Blue Ivy smiling and chillin' with mommy, Beyonce's love-gushing birthday toast for Jay at his 2006 birthday party, the twosome singing Coldplay's Yellow" to each other, pink rollers she rocked while in labor, and we hear the song she wrote at her saddest point--after her miscarriage.

On her miscarriage

Two years ago I was pregnant for the first time. I heard the heartbeat. Something happens when you hear the heartbeat. You truly know there's life inside you. I picked out names. I envisioned what my child looked like. I was feeling very maternal. My family was so excited. I flew back out NY to get my checkup. And no heartbeat. Literally, the week before, I went to the doctor and everything was fine. But there was no heartbeat. I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I'd ever written in my life and it was the first song I wrote for my album.

On letting her father go as her manager

I'm feeling very empty because of the relationship with my dad. I'm so fragile at this point. And I feel like my soul has been tarnished. I feel like I had to move on and not work with my dad. And I don't care if I don't sell one record ever again. It's bigger than the record. It's bigger than the career.

On the biggest reason she wanted to manage herself

At some point you need your support system. You need your family. You're trying to have an everyday convo with your parents, and you have to talk about schedules. I needed boundaries. And I think my dad needed boundaries. I needed a break. I needed my DAD.

On if she got her relationship with her dad back

No. It was hard. I had to sacrifice my relationship with my dad. It was a stressful, sad difficult time. But I had to let go.

On Blue Ivy's name

We passed by a beautiful blue tree [overseas]. I think it's blue ivy. That would be quite appropriate.

On feeling Blue kick for the first time

I felt the baby kick for the first time. It kicked 5 times! I've been waiting for that moment. Hopefully it'll do it again so Jay can feel it.

On bringing Daniel Sr. (Julez's dad) to Paris with them last year

This is the time when your memories really stick with you for the rest of your life. I wanted to give Julez the memory with his dad. I know how important that is.

On hiding her pregnancy

There's no words that can express having a baby growing inside of you. But you have to make sure everything is ok. So I had to hide the best thing in my life. I was scared to make plans, but I went to the doctor who said 'Listen, you have to let it go. You're healthy and if this baby is supposed to be here, the baby is going to be here. Go do everything you've been doing and everything will be fine.'

On being her own manager

My father taught me so much about being in this business. Business and being polite...it doesn't match. You can be fair. But me being polite wasn't me being fair to myself. Now I'm learning how political things are. A lot of the crazy things my father did were necessary.

On getting frustrated

Sometimes I think, should I just retire? All I need is NOT me. I can't do it by myself.

On connecting with Jay

We connected on a spiritual level. It's just a coincidence that he's also an artist. Hes taught me so much about being an artist. I, like a lot of women, give up so much. But he doesn't....Having this baby made me love him more than I ever thought was possible. It's every woman's dream to feel this way about someone.

On giving birth

I felt like God was giving me the chance to assist in a miracle. There's something so relieving about life taking over you like that. You're playing a part in a much bigger show. And that's what life is....the greatest show on earth. My baby was born out of a conflict in my life. And that conflict had to be settled.

On ended up with a blessed life

My grandmother used to light candles all the time in the church to pray for my mother. I am a result of my grandmother's prayers. My grandmother prayed for me. My mother prays for me. God is real. And God lives inside of me. It doesn't matter where I am. I feel it. Like right now, I'm hot. It's inside of me.

No matter how much truth you tell or live, there will ALWAYS be someone who doesn't believe you or pray for your downfall. That's why it's so important to have a relationship with God. Only He can get you through it and still love yourself as He love you!!! *Side note: even with the questionable full body shots, her face screamed pregnant. Her nose probably couldn't spread b/c of her nose job. Her and Kelly had really good nose jobs done when DC3 came out.

This is a case where you need

This is a case where you need to let the professionals do what they do and you co-executive produce and keep the rights to the final piece. Too much filler with performances we've already seen before. Little authenticity and quite frankly boring at times. Excellent performer but terribly lacking as a documentary producer.

I can definitely identify

I can definitely identify with her loss and not wanting to tell everybody about being pregnant with Blue. When you first get pregnant, you want the world to know and when it is ended with the loss of that child, it's devastating because everyone got their hopes up and it was very exciting, especially, if you're doing it the right way. You become VERY over protective of your next pregnancy and you take extreme measures protecting that pregnancy and doing everything that you can to make sure that it is a healthy pregnancy! I LIVE THIS! Either way, I LOVE ME SOME BEY! That is all!

I loved Beyonce's documentary and her interview with Oprah. Both revealed that she believes in God whole-heartedly which I already knew!! I loved the fact that she showed only certain portions of personal life events such as her pregnancy and removing her father from being her manager. I like Beyonce's music and think she is great entertainer. Unfortunetly, she should stick to that, being an entertainer and singing. All these specials on her life are irrelevant. As she mentionned in the document, it is not of our business. As a human being, she fails to reach out to people. She fails in emotions and just being an everyday person who goes through some shit, just like anyone else. She puts on this perfect life, where she lives drama free...Good for her but its not reality. As human we go through losses, breakups, weight gain...she showed us on live TV she was pregnant...who does that...and it was one of the quickest pregnancy seen in history. Jay and her never even share a simple kiss...Her belly looks fake...I look like that on days where I am bloated....After watching this, we might as well call her Mother Theresa Beyonce. Perfect perfect...where she brings her nephew to Paris to share a great experience with the dad....That makes Solange look really good right...This is why i prefer Rihanna...despite her stupidity for going back to Chris Brown, it just shows us that you know what, she is like us. SHE MAKES MISTAKES... It's truly surprising how

It's truly surprising how polarizing Beyonce is as an entertainer and as a person. There really doesn't seem to be a middle of the road (at least not within the black community). People either love her to the point of cult icon status or hate her to the point of believing she may actually be the devil himself. The level of adoration and hatred this woman receives must be such a mindf*ck. Why would she bother to share about a past miscarriage but not share about having to use a surrogate? That public sympathy would work in her favor. There isn't another celeb that I know of who has had to face this kind of scrutiny relating to a pregnancy.

It's nice to hear someone

It's nice to hear someone talk about their childbirth experience as something amazing because that's what it is. I hate to hear women talking about pumping themselves full of drugs and hoping for c-sections and just get IT out because we miss out on that experience that makes us more than women it makes us Gods in our own right. We are where the people come out :-) and hospitals and doctors help us forget that it's nice to know that people still can see the beauty in the pain the struggle the labor and the ugliness of birth.

I guarantee she will be pregnant again by the end of the year when her tour has finished. Good for her. Her daughter is cute but most babies are, i bet there were a lot of sighs of relief from both sides of the fam when blue came out light with her hair texture and beys nose lol. I think its a given that she will be regarded as a prolific female performer when she starts to slow down. What will be interesting to see is who will pick the baton up next, will the female be a UK or American girl, how she goes about cementing her status as a superstar as bey and michael jackson have done before her. One thing is for sure is that bey has provided a great blueprint on how to achieve a higher status than the average artist.

This "documentary" was a bunch of bullshit, point blank period. Oprah hyped that shit up to the max. It was so pointless. Her sitting on the couch acting like that white guy was a journalist and respondig to him as if he asked her real questions, her walking around with a bulky computer to record herself, (and why in the hell does she get so close up on the camera as if she's tryng to......), her on the rooftop of a building spinning around with the camera, like wtf..... her going on the balcony greeting her fans trying to reenact MJ, her showing herself as a little girl in that same denim outfit, her performances that people have already seen, her combing through her hair, butt naked in a dark room, her ridiculous tone of voice while she was speaking in that dark room especially the way she said "I feel anxious" (she sounded so stupid and rehearsed) her fakeness when and how she said "it was amazing, it was amazing, I can't believe it". I just can't with this girl. P.S. She still didn't show a current photo of Baby Blue and her inherited untamed kinky hair. seriously, what the hell is wrong with you people - super stans and super haters alike?! i saw the documentary...i loved the documentary. she revealed a lot i didn't know, but that's because i don't follow her every move - i listen to and enjoy some of her music, i catch her on award shows when i can, and i buy a ticket to a show when time permits - just like i do for all the other artists i enjoy. you say she didn't reveal enough or that you already knew what she revealed? so WHAT? that only demonstrates to me that your priorities are skewed (UNLESS you are in the industry and knowing these things somehow pertains to your livelihood). she's a great entertainer, a very hard worker, she loves her family, believes in God, adores her husband and is now a mommy. she was pregnant and gave birth to her own child. but i guess she needs to show Blue Ivy coming out of her hooha for you all to believe it. GTFOHWTBS. why in the world Beyonce receives some much insane vitriol is beyond me and quite scary - i would've behaved the same way about my pregnancy if i was in her shoes. y'all are bat shit crazy. you better hope and pray that you are never on the receiving end of such hatred in your own lives...karma is real.
