GRAMMYS 2016: Kendrick Lamar Wins BEST RAP ALBUM -- Watch His Powerful Acceptance Speech!

Before he had the stage LIT with Black power at tonight's GRAMMY Awards, Kendrick Lamar served Black excellence with his acceptance speech.  Watch it inside...

 

Congrats are in order!  Kendrick Lamar just won Best Rap Album for the critically acclaimed work To Pimp A Butterfly.  And it was presented to him by fellow Compton rapper Ice Cube and son O'Shea Jackson, Jr.

After thanking his parents by name, and a sweet thank you to fiancé Whitney, he also made it clear Hip Hop is bigger than just himself:

"Ice Cube, this is for hip-hop. This is for Snoop Dogg, Doggy Style, Illmatic.  This is for Nas.  We will live forever.  Believe that."

Kendrick also won Best Rap Performance for "Alright," Best Rap Song for "Alright," and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "These Walls" Featuring Bilal, Anna Wise & Thundercat. His "Bad Blood" remix he's featured on of Taylor Swift's won Best Music Video.
