CELEBS HELP SAVE HOUSTON AREA: Michael Blackson Gives Us All The Laugh We Need + Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Trae The Truth, The Flockas & More Help #Harvey Victims

Celebs are stepping up and whipping out their wallets to help victims in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey. Meanwhile, comedian Michael Blackson is giving us all the laugh we need during a time of devastation. Get it all inside…

During times of devastation, laughter is the best remedy.

After Kevin Hart issued his $25K challenge to his “A-List” celebrity friends to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, comedian Michael Blackson offered up his own challenge. And it’s quite funny.

Blackson issued a challenge to “Z-list celebs who look rich but are broke” to donate money to help those in Houston. He’s not challenging them to offer up $25,000. He’s asking them to give amounts that are more in line with their alleged tax bracket. *cackles*

The comedian called out DC Young Fly, Joe Budden, Yung Joc, all the “Housewives,” the “Love & Hip Hop” stars, the “Wild ‘N Out” cast and Bow Wow, asking them to send amounts less than $100. Then, he shaded the hell out of Bobby V saying, “We don’t want your money.”

Lordt.  It's all just jokes though.

Peep the clip below:

I have child support so I can't donate $25,000 to #Houston but I will donate $5,000 today. Www.Cdn.CrowdRise.Com #PrayForHouston

Bobby V got wind of the video and hit Blackson up:

Just because you haven’t READ about Beyonce giving back to her hometown of Houston doesn’t mean she isn’t giving back.

Bey’s pastor, Rev. Rudy Rasmus from St. John's United Methodist Church, spoke with TMZ to reveal that he’s working with Mrs. Carter to help the Hurricane Harvey victims. We all know Bey is SUPER private. But, we didn’t have a doubt in our minds that she wasn’t helping the people of her hometown.

Apparently, there are rumors going around that the “Shining” singer donated $7 million already, but Pastor Rasmus said don’t look for her to confirm that.  Bey already publicly pledged to help her hometown, but she likely won't be flossing exactly she will do it.

Peep the clip below:

Beyonce's mom Tina Lawson is also helping to spread the word on how to donate:

Meanwhile...

Funnyman Kevin Hart is close to raising $1 million less than 48 hours after issuing his #HurricaneHarveyRelief challenge. As of the time of this post, the number is at $997,887. Nice! You can donate to the fund HERE.

Chris Brown accepted Kevin Hart's challenge and went above and beyond, donating $100,000. But, he's not giving his coins to American Red Cross.

Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera, T.I., DJ Khaled, Trae The Truth and Nicki Minaj all accepted Kevin's challenge as well:

Former NBA baller Gilbert Arenas found time out of his petty schedule to help those in Houston:

He also partnered with two Subway locations in Houston to provide 5K in sandwiches for families in need.

And Zion Marley wants to know:

Do you agree with #LaurynHill's son #ZionMarley about the #NBA's contribution to #Harvey?

Also, Master P is calling out Kevin Hart for putting other celebrities on the spot to donate to Houston. He said he's glad Kevin donated money, but he shouldn't have pressured other people to put up money because it's there money and they should donate whoever they see fit. Peep the clip below:

Thoughts?
